Talking Got one of those ancient revolver things...

S&W model 19 K-Comp. Had to order it, should have it next week. Always wanted a nice .357, found a good deal and impulse bought one.

My S&W 38 is a K frame, nice gun. I will tell you though that frame is a little light for a .357. Not really an issue unless you put a lot of rounds through it, like thousands. Then it may start to 'loosen' up, happened to a friends. But again that was after thousands of rounds. They did make changes over the years so later versions may not have an issue at all. Enjoy.

This the animal in question... not really a "range gun" with the 3" barrel.

Nice gun. I have a Ruger .22 semi-auto, Ruger 9MM SR9C, Remington RM380 and the stainless model 67 S&W .38. The .38 is the nicest gun and the best piece of workmanship by far. It may be ancient as you say but they're nice guns and for me the best shooting.

If that thing is a lot heavier than the J-frame, it will be a blast to shoot. My pocket gun is a S&W .357 Air Lite. Wicked bitch with the magnums in it. Much easier on my hand when I shoot 38's in it. It usually cuts my fingers when I whack the mags through it.

I say "ancient" in an endearing way. I am chomping at the bit to go pick it up. My EDC is a Gen 3 Glock G30SF. It may be tupperware to some, but it is stone cold reliable and puts big holes in the targets.

My handgun variety consists of the Glock, a Kahr Arms PM45, an HK USP Compact .45, a Springfield RO 1911, and soon this S&W .357

I am not a collector by any means. I have actually thinned the herd over the past 2 years. I think I am going to sell the HK next, great gun... but has become a safe queen.

Rifles and shotguns... I have a Savage bolt action in .308, an AR-10, a Mossberg 930 SPX 12G. To sort of bridge the gap, I have a pistol carbine that uses the same mags and is chambered in the same caliber as my Glock.
