Been working on it, but been having power issues. House is completely rewired with new breaker panel. Turns out the meter base has conveniently gone bad after the power company put in a new smart meter in. Looks like a set back at this point. Only have one leg working in the house, so no 220 volts. Not sure what this is going to cost to replace. My base is built into the wall of the house.

Open the meter box and see if you have 2 hot legs coming into meter and 2 coming out. Don't worry about breaking the seal, workers open them all the time when they need 220 power when working outside.

The power here sucks. We have a whole house standby gen, so do the people behind us, 2 across the side street. Next store and across the street have portable gens. We lose 1 leg a lot, may only be for a few seconds but enough to mess things up. I have a battery backup on the DVR and TV, one on the modem and one on the desktop PC. That's a lot of crap because they can't give us decent power.

Guess it's time to get serious about doing the finish work on this house. Been busy the last 3 weeks and wife is finally going to get the counter tops figured out and a kitchen sink. (one would think this would have been done already, Lol) . Up stairs just need the floor repaired and trim put on. Thinking about doing a painted simulated wood floor for now up there. I hate doing patch work, I think its more work then if I had just started over at times.

Well the project continues to move forward. Ready to start the leveling process on the floors this New years weekend and once the gold platted sink arrives (Kidding, just not cheap) the counter tops can be measured cut and be installed. Just trim work to complete. Should finally be done by spring. Yah, I ready to be done. Look at the difference. I put this stair case in 3 times to satisfy the wife.

My buddy on the weekends.

Spent my Birthday weekend again working on the wife's project. Leveling floors, way more work then I thought. I'm getting to old for this, lol.

Some of the final flooring going in.
