Hard to believe it has been almost a year before I have got back to the front of the house. Been pushing to try to get the front finished before winter gets here. Have been working on getting the bathroom and the laundary room done this last winter, but the rest is still down to the studs. Been way to busy this summer to get down there much. Here's a few pics from this weekend. Still need to buiild the front porch. I layed out the way what I think it will look like, needed the wife's approval first.

Finally got back to the Beach house project. Been really slow getting it done. Took all winter off and now just getting back to after 6 month. This thing is going to take as long as the Chevelle did. Got porch started and gable end shaked. Wired half the house, and framed in some new doors between the living room and den. Spent 3 days on it this week. Almost ready for electrical inspection so I can insulate.

Took the day off, so I could get an electrical inspection done and he or she stood me up today. Drove a 100 miles one way to get there. I guess I get to make another trip back down. Hoping to at least get half the house electrical working today so I can tear out the other half and I can start insulation on half the house before winter gets here. Camping out tonight since the house doesn't have heat yet.

Finally able to get the electrical and framing inspections done today. Now have ceiling lights and wall plugs installed in half of the house. Time for insulation and sheet rock in half of the house once I find someone to teach me about installing internet systems. I can now pull out the old wiring and re-wire the new kitchen and eating area.
