Default Sick dog..he ate a squirrel

My ten year old German Shepard ate one. The five year old killed it and left it for a couple of days. Old guy finds it as like "DAMN, lookie here". A snack! He wouldn't eat breakfast four days ago. Bad sign. Hardly ate any supper. Three in the morning, he wakes Kathy up to go outside. Poor bastard shit his brains out. Up twice more that night. He aint been right until just a few hours ago. Runny shit, don't want to eat, don't want to do anything except lay down looking sad.Rotten squirrel smells HORRIBLE when it's blasted all over the yard. I sure feel bad when he is sick. I'm sure not as bad as he's felt though.

Dogs are silly that way aren't they. My dog ate them all the time. Came home and puked them up. Did that stop him nope. He couldn't wait to catch and eat the next one.

Maybe it does, just doesn't go through like chicken.

We had a black lab, she would eat absolutely anything she could get in her mouth. She was pretty good though, if she got a chipmunk or squirrel I just told her to drop it and she would.

He is OK now. Had my Vet in Michigan overnight some meds for him, but now he doesn't need them. Wasted 25 bucks in shipping alone.
