Ever thought about having the originals rechromed? Or are they too beat up?

I need go get them out and really look at them. There is someone out there that makes new ones that look like the originals and fit well from what I remember. I'm thinking it will cost about $500 to do my originals. I believe it is a corvette site that offers them.

I have owned my chevelle for ever. But I just work on it. My buddy is the opposite he just drives his. Well today he let me drive his.
I was laughing it is sad i have owned a chevelle for 12 years but they only one I drove was 3 years ago and it was yours.
But i had fun. He said it was a motivator for me.

Made plans this weekend to pick up my car on Wednesday. It has been so tough watching and hearing about everyone out and about in their cars with the weather being so nice. But I was dealing with grumpys BMX bike collection taking up room in the garage.

So I was tired of waiting on him and went and rented a storage unit on Saturday. I moved bikes, parts, boxes and more stuff all day. My son and I even took apart a bike rack that held 8 bikes, moved it to the storage unit, then put it back together and put bikes on it in the storage unit.

I know when I get my car out of storage that I need to have some front end work done, so it may be a little while til I am out cruising. But it will be home....in MY GARAGE !

Beautiful day up here in Vancouver too Ray....highs mid 70s.

Was kinda glad to get off that boat...left San Diego Tuesday afternoon heading north.

Wed & Thur were very rough!!! Gale force winds and 15-20 ft swells but no rain!!!
Strange but interesting to see a nearly 1,000 ft long ship get bounced around by Mother Nature...looked like a crab boat on the Discovery Channel.
Capt had ordered all outer decks closed.

Finally calmed down on Friday but put us into Victoria, BC about 6 hrs late.

Did see a pod of Orcas running next to the ship just south of Seattle yesterday...
