Thats silver, it was called either custom or special two tone... it was an 85 with the 2.8...what a dog, in 88 I bought another with the 4.3, same 2 tone package with charcoal grey/black/Charcoal grey, what a difference in the power of that FI 4.3.

Yeah, the 4.3 seemed like a big block compared to the 2.8

I put the entire Edelbrock Power Package on a 2.8 in an S-15 4x4 I had. Topped it off with a 390cfm Holley. Even in their ad, they'd only tell you that the whole package would let that thing put out 160lb-ft of torque.

Nice Blazer, Seeb!

a better one of the 85, it's brand new!! still has the Thorobred Chevrolet Chandler Az plate on the front, the pic is @ Papago park in Phoenix, why, why, did I ever leave... I'd be out cruising around now instead of scrounging through old pictures.

I don't know if you have herd, but mine was blue and white. Cute story here. My daughter was 4 at the time and already into cars. When I brought it home, she was all excited and ran to the window to look at it. All of a sudden she started flipping out and crying her eyes out. After we got her calmed down, she told us the problem. It didn't have the big tires and wheels on it! I was at the Chevy dealer the next day. I still tease her to this day about that one!

Geeez... what you got the low optioned version??
I forget what the pkgs were back then, wasn't LS,LT,LTZ...I know on the fullsize the Silverado was the top option package....now it's an actual truck, go figure.

I think the best model was called Tahoe? I cannot remember. My blue and white was loaded, but it had steel wheels if only for a day. My last Blazer was a 1990 all white sport with every option including factory sunroof, which was a pop up! It was gorgeous. In 1991 we bought our first Jeep and have been Chrysler-Jeep ever since.
