Here in the Motor City the Detroit Autorama brings some of the nicest looking cars. Here are a few pics of those cars, along with some other interesting cars thrown in.

The Henry Ford/Greenfield Village is one of favorite museums to go to. This year the Museum redid their car exhibit and we took the kids to go and enjoy looking at history. Here is a small part of our first look at the exhibit.

What a blast ! It was so hot, 95+ degrees and humid, but we had quite a few cars turn out. Even Einstein was there, see if you can find him. Enjoy.

A dragstrip that I used to go to many years ago, is no longer there. So some of the "old timers" got together and decided to start holding a reunion of the racers at Milan Dragway in Milan, Michigan.

Here are a few pics that we took as we roamed around. Unfortunately, the racing came to a hault about 6pm as the huge rain clouds came and it started to downpour.

I got the most awesome birthday gift from my husband, grumpy. And today we went and had the tires and rims mounted onto my 1972 Chevelle Malibu. I absolutely love the look of the rims.

This was the first year that we attended the Clawson Fallfest Car Show. The weather was absolutely perfect ! It was in the upper 60's, sunny, with a cool breeze. The car show was sponsored by USMA and they had a wonderful turn out. I spent a large part of the day just talking to some of the nicest people. I like to buy thoses 50/50 tickets and ended up winning both of the draws they had. Then as the day was drawing to an end, and the trophies were being awarded, I was pleasantly surprised when they called my name as the "Favorite 70's Cruiser". What a great day and a lot of nice people. I hope you enjoy some of the pics I took.
