To nice of a saturday to leave the car in the garage. Took it out for a drive today to blow a few cob webs off it.

Ray, your car looks beautiful. I still have a few things I need to get done on my car too. I was thinking about entering it into the world or wheels in march.

Thank you for your kind words. Looks like World of Wheels would be a fun show.

Im going to visit the Chevelle and El Camino in my shop tomorrow and decide what my first plan of attack will be . I really need to get a stereo system in Joan's vert and I ordered it today and will try to get it installed by her birthday which is February 7th .

Broke the spider gears in the rear carrier so all that was replaced - changed gear from 3.42 to a 3.73 since it needed replaced anyway. While it was apart went ahead and put on a rear disc kit (which turned out to be a bit of a PITA - Moser axles are marginally longer than stock and create fitment issues.)

Tomorrow the bench seat comes out an my new TMI buckets go in (unfortunately the headrests are MIA but I can live with it for now) along with a console and staple/horseshoe shifter with modified gate!

Really hoping everything goes okay once I tear in tomorrow. Plan on starting early so hopefully all problems can be resolved by sun-down.

With all the rain we had last week all the salt was off the roads so yesterday I drove the 69 for around 45mins for the first time in months. Boy did it feel good! Not to mention how good it felt to hear and see all the complements and and thumbs ups and stories people were telling me about their old chevelles they used to have. Then after I washed her all up and back under the car cover in the garage she goes.
