Lookiing good. I was checking out your gauges and it looks like they are right under the steering wheel. Maybe it is just the angle of the picture that makes it look that way.

I have not had the chance to do much to my chevelle. I took some time this weekend to work on it. I installed the Shoulder Cowl on the passenger side. My welds are not that pretty but its going to be covered with seam sealer primer paint and the fender..lol so i think i will be ok..lol
I thought I had a picture of it before but basically I had no shoulder cowl it was hacked off and not done very well. So I had to wait almost 2 months for these things to show up but they are finally here. http://chevelleforum.org/attachment....1&d=1396574707 and here is what how i started http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps924a10fc.jpg then pulled out the spot welder http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps56c01442.jpg then I filled in the gap from the cover to the front plate http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps5f2471bb.jpg and finally held together with no issues just ugly..lol http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps5bea1ecd.jpg i hope this week i can do the driver side and then do some grinding and seam sealer and paint it! |
Looks good to me.

i was able to find these at a swap meet so happy! http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps45ad08d1.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps18564f02.jpg they fit so much better then the 70 seats did http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...psv5sis6wb.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...psztg14jmi.jpg |
got started on the driver side shoulder cowl here is what was left with my cowl
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps5c430e95.jpg cleaned it sanded it down and coated it with weld though primer http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps668311e3.jpg and did a test fit on it http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps3d69712a.jpg i think today i am going to finalize the test fit and burn some wire to it so i can move on :) |
its been a while since i updated this so i figured now is the time :)
so after the test fit i went ahead and did it :) http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps1yxpvkbc.jpg a little before and after http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps4sr2dzfq.jpg a little before and after on the other side http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...psdlqzhmti.jpg |
the completed product on the driver side
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...psyuegp4np.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...psnysdt4xh.jpg completed passenger side http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...pshjjniemw.jpg http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n...psamonrdu1.jpg not pictured because its boring..lol I took the driver side door off because the bushing in the hinge was shot. So i rebuilt them and while i had the door off i sprayed some guide coat on it and sanded it down to make sure its nice and smooth. then i sanded the door jams nice and smooth and since i was at it i said might as well do the quarter panels as well. So as of right now the whole driver side is ready to primer :) now off to do the trunk area then the other side :) |
