Beautiful day today. My plan was to take my car out this morning til I opened the garage and realized that grumpy and my son have surrounded my car with BMX bikes and it would have taken an hour to pull everything out, pull the car out, and then put the bikes back til I got home. So another day lost.

We took the truck(yesterday) to the last ever downtown Jasper cruise in and had a great time ,its a shame the merchants dont want us there anymore ,I guess they dont want our business anymore either .

John, they will realize what they lost when you are no longer there.

Nice day today, it was sunny all day. Started the day watching the Detroit Lions come from a 1/2 time score of 0-21 (they were getting their butts kicked) to winning the game 22-21. Put me in a great mood so I spent the day cleaning out the garden, cutting the grass, cutting weeds and cleaning up the flower pots. Made great use of one of the last nice days.

Started out this afternoon to meet a few friends at a local cruise. Ran out of gas about 3 miles from the house...actually planned to stop in at one of my preferred gas stations about 2 miles further down the road on the way to the cruise.
Evidently, 1/4 left in the tank per the gauge doesn't mean diddly. :D

Spent half the day cleaning up the yard from all the debris that blew in yesterday. Still have half the yard to go. Been raining on and off all day.

We supposed to get our first snow and down to 20 after raining. Vans days are numbered. You guys park your chevelles. I never get to drive mine. But i park the van in nasty weather and get out the truck.

More rain and then more rain. Hasn't stop raining around here for almost 3 weeks. I guess since we had a dry summer it's making up for it now. Send some of this rain south to California.

Spent the evening outside passing out candy at my grand daughters house. It was windy, cold and raining. What crappy weather for Halloween.

Woke up to 50* this morning... BRISK! Don't worry about us down in Florida though, it is supposed to be in the mid 60s later today. And back in the 80s by Tuesday. ;)
