This is just RIDICULOUS !!!!! Where is the Michigan summer ? Someone needs to let Mother Nature that we are in Michigan, not Florida !!!

Hank70SS 07-15-2013 07:12 AM

This is like last summer. Hardly drove the Chevelle all summer because it was so hot.

Hank70SS 07-15-2013 06:29 PM

It was 92 here today, with the humidity it was just miserable outside. You couldn't even go outside and stand in the shade without dripping with sweat. There's a heat advisory for tomorrow through Thursday. What the hell was this, a cool front? Heat index was around 100.

Guess we lucked out a little. A thunderstorm just rolled through, power went out a couple times for a few seconds. Fortunately it came back on, can't run the AC off the generator. Guess we could start the generator in the motorhome and sleep in there, not my first choice though.

Same here ! This stinks !

Ms Grumpy 07-15-2013 08:21 PM

I needed to get something done, even with this heat. So I must have had a brain fart cause I decided to go to the Laundromat and wash my car cover. Not that it wasn't hot enough outside, inside the Laundromat it was 85 degrees and the humidity was off the chart. Then I get home, and here come the thunderstorms....really ????

shadowgray396 07-15-2013 11:08 PM

Going to be 90 here tomorrow and most of the week. Looks like 88 on Sat for our club show. No rain in sight.

flash 07-16-2013 08:41 AM

Its already hot and humid here this morning but at least it's not raining .It's actually been pretty nice lately ,very little rain.

shadowgray396 07-22-2013 08:22 PM

We are now into our 5th week with out rain, and in the high 80's the rest of the week.

Ms Grumpy 07-22-2013 09:06 PM

Ray, I wish we could have sent you some of our rain. And to see the rain causing flooding in Arizona is so sad.

Weather her in Michigan has been nice the past few days. I have been watching the weather as the NOCC show is first weekend in August. Last I looked it could be cloudy with a chance of rain on Saturday. Keeping my fingers crossed for nice weather.

shadowgray396 07-29-2013 08:46 AM

July here is going in the record books as the driest month on record. Only a trace of rain back around the first of the month. Still no rain going into August. Have several fires burning across the state now.

Garyb 07-29-2013 10:40 AM

We set record lows yesterday. I hit the bike trail at 11AM and was wishing i had brought a sweatshirt......Weird for July

flash 07-29-2013 11:26 AM

Its pretty nice here ,sunny and mild with lower humidity.

Didn't get out of the 60's over the weekend, average temps this time of year are low 80's.

Ms Grumpy 07-30-2013 09:30 PM

Watching the weather to see if the rain holds off for departure for Ohio on Thurs morning. Hoping Mother Nature co-operates.

Ditto that!! Raining here right now but hope it all moves out before we leave heading north in the morning.
Gonna be a long drive if it rains...

flash 07-31-2013 11:23 AM

If all goes well later today at the hospital we will head on toward Ohio tonight ,even in the rain ,just have to clean the car again when we get there .

Hank70SS 08-01-2013 10:06 AM

Anyone else in MI tired of the rain or is it just me. Seems we can't get more than one day without rain. Enough is enough already.

shadowgray396 08-01-2013 08:20 PM

First rain of the summer here today, 68 degrees

shadowgray396 08-10-2013 01:07 AM

Thunder storms tonight. Had 1.7 inches of rain in the hills in 3 hours. Some area's got 2" of hail. Light rain here, but 80 tomorrow again.

Hank70SS 08-10-2013 06:59 AM

80 and sunny yesterday, 77 today, 79, tomorrow, 78 on Monday. 40% chance of showers on Monday, other than that dry. I think our July weather finally arrived.

How about the rain in the south, anyone get hit? They got 8" in Nashville.

mestorod70 08-11-2013 09:52 AM

its 95 deg here with 80% humidity.
It will rain most afternoons for an hour or so.
Im looking forwards to october.

flash 08-11-2013 02:14 PM

Its hot and humid here ,it will probably rain again before the day is over .Im so sick of all this rain ,luckily we have not had the flooding issues as some around us except for my shop in one corner.

grandsport 08-14-2013 05:07 PM

Weather sucks big time, worst summer I can remember in years.Highs in the 60s lows in the 40s.I know O'bamma got a hand in this somehow, just can't figure it out yet.

shadowgray396 08-14-2013 05:19 PM

Been keeping between 80 to 85 for the last two months. No rain since June

Hank70SS 08-14-2013 05:23 PM

I had to drive the Chevelle to the glass shop this morning. It was in the 50's, that's cold when there's no windshield and no rear window in the car. Good thing it was only a couple of miles.

flash 08-14-2013 06:42 PM

It was hot and humid here yesterday ,today its unseasonably cool ,I like it .

flash 08-15-2013 08:56 PM

We had another unusually nice day today ,like a fall october day ,very nice .

carpoor 08-15-2013 10:10 PM

Rain, rain, and more rain... with no end in sight.

Rained here at some point last night...again!!
Hoping the weather stays decent for the trip tomorrow over to AL to attend the Heart of Dixie show.
Forecast doesn't sound too promising...

flash 08-16-2013 11:11 AM

I dont think we got any rain last night ,I left my truck windows down and nothing was wet this morning. We are probably heading out early in the morning .

Hank70SS 08-16-2013 05:20 PM

Nice day, upper 70's, low humidity. Washed the Chevelle, changed the oil, filled the gas tank, ready for Back To The Bricks tomorrow. Supposed to be 80 tomorrow and Sunday, no rain, sunny.

Ms Grumpy 08-16-2013 09:15 PM

We have been really lucky with the weather in Michigan lately. Like Hank said it is beautiful. Even the upcoming week the weather is supposed to be sunny the only downfall is that the temps are going to keep rising. As long as there is no rain...all is good.

shadowgray396 08-16-2013 11:50 PM

Keeps trying to mist in the mornings, but sunny afternoons. Only down fall is our humdity is around 80%. we are not use to that. It runs around 40% or less in the summer.

shadowgray396 08-20-2013 12:14 AM

Fires, fires and more fires. We have gotten so dry it seems like everything is on fire around us and all the western states. Talk is to close down all the woods until we get some rain. That would close down hunting season, camping, any recreational use and working in the woods. The risk is just way to high for more fires to start.

Hank70SS 08-20-2013 06:53 AM

We're finally starting to dry out. Our lawn is usually toast in August, too much to water. This year it's a bright green and we have to mow about every 4 days.

BillsCamino 08-20-2013 07:37 AM

Heading out to Home Depot this morning to buy more cubits of lumber needed to complete the Ark...;)

Looks like I have time, no rain predicted here until Thursday, just some showers.

carpoor 08-22-2013 12:55 PM

Thunder, lightning, and monsoon-like rain for the past two hours. :grumpy:

flash 08-22-2013 04:21 PM
