The country on this side of the world is mostly on fire these days. We could use a little rain. It will take fall rains to put the fires out around here. At least 50 fires burning in the western states and more lighting is on the way for tomorrow. They have spent almost a billion dollars fighting fires on this side of the country.

Sorry to hear about the fires out there Ray ,that is really scary .I wish we could send you our rain for a while ,stay safe .

It's finally starting to feel like August here. No real rain in a couple of weeks. Even had a couple of sprinklers going the last few days.

Last night was miserable. It was humid, and rained pretty much nonstop. It was just a drizzle though, which seemed to make it worse. I went with a friend last night to pick up a car. Was supposed to be a 4-5 hour round trip, ended up being 8+. I got home about 1:10 am today.

Ray, you can have our rain for the rest of the year as far as I am concerned.

Been getting some rain this week, but it is so humid around here. Not use to that. Still was 81 here todaay.

Rain has arrived for the next few days. Hopefully it will get over to the east side of the state that really could use it to help put the fires out.

It's been really hot and humid the last few days. Today it was was 88 with really high humidity and it's supposed to rain most of the weekend, BUT next week is looking absolutely beautiful. Low 70's all week and 50's at night! Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons followed by winter. I don't like being hot and the old guys at work tell me I'm crazy but you can always put clothes on when you get cold, but you can only take so much off when your hot!!

1.5" in about an hour today and it's still 70's here. There calling it Florida rain. Some minor flooding. Weather is going back into the high 80's by next Wednesday. It was so dark at 5pm today I had to drive home with the head lights on. Ended up with 2.5 " last night. Lot of thunder and lightning, and it still 65 out this morning.

We had a little rain here on tuesday....lol.

We have had very little rain lately which is good but Ive been too sick to really enjoy it .I have had a very bad summertime cold or crud for over three weeks now and cant seem to shake it ,this crap is spreading everywhere down here.

The weather has been BEAUTIFUL here. We had such a crappy few months and late August and September have been just wonderful. Unfortunately with the kids starting school I haven't had time to take my car out much.

Rain are gone for a week and going to be in the high 80's this week.

Correction going to be in the mid 90's the next couple of days. Hoping to do one last car show this weekend.

Rains have returned and the fire danger has been lifted. Was hoping to go to one more car show last weekend, but it poured all weekend around here.

We had plenty of rain last saturday ,but its been nice and cool so far this week.

Any where from 3 to 5" of rain this weekend.

We had 6" of rain this last weekend, and over 11" in the coast range. Been so wet around here and some rivers are at flood stage. Set all kinds of records. September is normally the 3 driest month of the year around here.

Looks like dry and warmer starting next weekend. Back into the 70's for at least a week. I will take it.

Weve had very nice early fall weather lately .

Going to be a 70 degrees weekend, so I heading for the beach for 2 days to get some last minute painting and work done.

It's gonna be chilly here. I'm working on the C-cab tomorrow and putting the engine in the monster truck on Saturday.

....glass guy is coming out tomorrow to put a new windshield in the monster truck. I plan on taking video. :D

We have gone almost 20 days with no rain and none forecast for at least another week. It has been around 70 for the last week or so around here. :banana::banana:

Lots of rain for the weekend and snow in the mountains. Ski season may be here by Thanksgiving or sooner.

Supposed to be highs in the 60's tomorrow but rain and high winds. Then high in the 30's on Tuesday.

It rained off and on yesterday, and continues this morning. But, somehow it is getting warmer? Mid 80s tomorrow and Monday. Wednesday was a cold and miserable day with high winds.

Just took the dog for his nightly walk... 74* outside. I wore shorts, a t shirt, and flip flops most of the day. Isn't it winter?

A little bit of rain here, nothing significant. Really need it to pour and wash away the pollen. Allergies have been kicking my butt for about a week.

72 and sunny here. Just went and got my car from alignment shop. Just wanted to keep cruising!

Rub it in, I'm camping out tonight at the beach house. No heat system up and running yet so all I have is a space heater. Glad I have an electric blanket on the bed since it will be in the 30's tonight.

Was about 40 last night, even the dog decided to jump on the bed with the electric blanket on to stay warm. Sunny today and about 50 on the coast. Got lots done inside and out on the project. Only about 5 more years to go and I might have the project finished.
