Amazing...after warming up for 35 miles, you got in your groove. That is just plain nuts.

Jeff, I admire you for what you've done my friend. Also, for what its worth, I'm proud of you man, you did it. Good show.

Oh, and you're probably nail-spitting tough now, too, aren't you? :D

I am so glad you had a safe and enjoyable ride. Welcome home.

Yup, don't thank us, we thank you. You did it, you trained and worked your butt off for this and you did it. You are the man Jeff, congratulations.

Thanks guys, it was a fun thing to accomplish.

And Jake, no I'm no tougher than anybody else, you want tough, get this. There is a couple local to me, they are both 56 years old. They have both been invited to compete in Canada's Ultraman competition. I thought Ironman competitors were tough people, and still do, but this couple goes way beyond that. Ultraman is a 6.2 mile swim, then a 90 mile bike ride. Then the next day a 170 mile bike ride, then 52.4 mile run!!!!!

The swim in that alone would kill me, much less any of the rest. And this is a real race, so as fast as they can do it. This one is so long they are allowed and required to have a support team follow them.

Now that's tough!!!

Jeff
