She does look alot better. Is it a small block? Maybe you had big block springs under there?

How's the ride now?

I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my '68...
Looking for a quick fix for the front-up stance - at least until I re-do the suspension all the way around.

So, is you ride better, worse, the same? How about wheel clearance...any rubbing issues?

here's mine, not the best photo, but you can see the front was like yours...

Liam, I love your 68 .Got any more pics ,interior and under hood .I sold our 68 project a while back and really wish I could have finished it . Had to sell something to start restoring my daily driver 72 Chevy truck ,I thought my 55 Bel Air would have sold first but it refuses to leave .I thought the 68 would be a hard sell as a project but it sold quick.

So , here's a question..
If you'r car has a droopy rear end like my 70 does,
is it better to drop the front or raise the back?
Is it just a matter of preference? Or does one way help the handeling more than the other.

I missed this one. Great job, looks much better.

I'm kind of wondering the same....my rear ens sits low...but has a pretty good ride...and I want to raise it up a few inches in the back.

I cut the front just to get the stance better - but it dropped too low and the tires rub...so, I order the 1-1/2 inch lowering springs from CPP...

But I would STILL like to get the arse up a bit.

Any ideas?

Shocks?

Before we did the upgrade on the suspension, we had lowered the front and I hated the way it handled. Especially since it was pretty low and I had to be so very careful with every drive way that even was a little steep. I guess having the new suspension makes me wonder how I could have driven the car the way it was before.
