and ya im trying to make a little extra because i had a classic car expert price it and he said it was worth $13k in the condition its in. And he also confirmed that it is a true SS. I listed it for 8500 of CL and had about 10000 phone calls. Had a 10k offer and 9600 offer and 9000 offer. So..ya i mean i have been honest and said what i got it for, but i need money because i am 23 years old, in college at UF and have a kid on the way. |

You got a smoking deal for 5K. Wish I had the cash, id make an offer. Good luck with the sale.

I paid $5500, the only thing I really had to do to the car was take apart the interior and clean it all out.
Install a new starter & install a larger more powerful battery to crank it So yea, I got about 6k into it. But still an amazing deal. |

Just becauce someone says it a true SS does not confirm it. You need paper work. Everything can be change to make it look like a SS, in fact there are more SS cars on the road today then actually built. You do have a good looking car. If you have had a offer of $9600 I would think it would be gone by now. Good luck on the sale of your car and congrats. Ray |
I wouldve sold it for 96 but i have 2 guys coming today, 1 offered 10k and the other said he would match or go higher.
I wasnt looking for a bid war but damn if i dont need the money |
You might be able to finance all the baby stuff, and still have $ to buy another project at this rate man.

Unless you have a build sheet or POP for that car, I'd be careful about selling it as a SS, no matter who 'looked' at it. Doing so could come back on you if the new owner finds out its not.

So di you ever sell your car?
