I am just curious why the good folks to the north take perfectly good cars like the Chevelle and distort it into something else .... the Acadian is another example of Cannuck plagerism! LOL Why not just leave well enough alone??

That white vert is a real nice car. The owner was alright too.

May as well be a Chevelle with the Chevrolet drivetrain. I think as far as the guys at ACES are concerned they are Chevelles. Wonder why GM did that though. It would be nice to get one of them as an Import. OK you guys got me! AN IMPORT I'D LOVE TO OWN!!

There were Canadian Pontiacs in the early 60s available with Chevy 409s in them.

We have some friends in Canada who have a 66 Beaumont ,they are the original owners too .Their car is beautiful and they dont trailer it ever ,they drove it down to the Peachstate Aces Regional Show last year .They have done a complete frameoff restoration on it and it has all its original drivetrain and body panels and never had any rust as it was always stored inside .It is big block powered and 4 speed to boot ,he ordered it with everything you could get on it .He originally wanted a Corvette but couldnt afford insurance on a performance sportscar but found out thet the beaumont was considered a family car and insurance was affordable. They also attend the Northern Ohio Show most times except last year.

I would have loved to have seen your friends car, flash.

Good looking car, can see the pontiac emblem on the front between the grills though. Has SC tags, must not be around my area I would have definitely noticed that driving around.

The Beaumont is a stepchild, an orphan if you will. Pieced together with some odd parts, all GM, but a mish mosh of this and that. Not all Pontiac, not all Chevy.

WOW, I have never heard of this car. Very cool. Like someone already stated. Must be very rare. Thes cars were only available in Canada?
