Lots of lawn, but no shrubs? Thats low maintenance. Looks like you will need a riding lawn mower.

4.5 acres and not one tree either... I'll be planting a lot of trees as soon as we take possession.

They offered us a pretty great deal on their lawnmower, 4 wheeler, snowblower, and some furniture & TVs too. Tomorrow is the home inspection, so afterward I'll be looking over all the swag they don't want to move to see if it's worth paying a little extra for a whole bunch of stuff we need to buy anyway.

Dude, that's an awesome mancave, wish I had that one. oh, and the bathroom would be a big plus, I have a couple of dead spots in the grass by my polebarn from me and the neighbor, I tell my wife it's from the dog.:D

No bathroom in the big shop, but there's a smaller garage between the house and shop that has been converted into a mother-in-law apartment, which has a full bathroom inside it.

Holy crap, I think that "smaller" garage is bigger than my whole house. lol

I am so jealous ! Lots of space to have your friends over and hold your own car show. :)

Congratulations Derek. Very nice setup, shop, extra garage and house, all look great. Definitely needs some trees but that's an easy fix, good luck man.

Appraisal is tomorrow... I'm a little nervous that the bank is going to balk at the roofing that needs to be replaced real soon. The shop roof is the worst one, which we plan to replace with steel (if we can afford it) this summer. The house can go another 2-3 years.

How much do they ask down there for a house in MN like this one?

Derek69SS 04-26-2012 05:15 PM

We're buying it for $310k...

shadowgray396 04-26-2012 05:53 PM

That would go for at least 450K to 600k here
