I've got nothing to hide. As a matter of fact the tires are new!
It's a matter of personal taste. Some people like the glossy look, and some don't. I saw this stuff and decided to try it. The nice thing about it is, it doesn't fling off like the other crap that's on the market. Like I said in a previous post,
if they offered this stuff in a satin or semi-gloss, I think it they will sell alot.

I wasn't trying to make it seem like YOU were hiding something. It's just what pops into my head after working at that used car dealer as a detailer when I was a teenager. I like a clean tire more than a coated one, but as you said, a satin finish might bring me around. Please don't think what I said was a personal attack. It wasn't designed to be.

It's all good Alan. No offence takin. ;) I submitted a review on Turtle wax's website telling them they should come out with a satin option. I don't know what good it will do, but you never know. :D

I just bought a can of this and I think it will work good on all the black plastic trim on Joan's Sport Trac ,not sure if I want to use it on the tire though.
