I wanted to make it look like te one I had in 67. The car was born Granada Gold, but because we had to off frame it and cut most of it out and replace, I decided to go with the Bolero Red, plus, I have a good friend who owns a body shop and loves resto work. I would have paid another $10,000 or more to do all that we did if I didn't have him. I take the trophies by the shop for him and the painter to see when we win a show. The first show after completion was in Orlando, and we won our class and best paint of the show. When I went to the body shop to tell them, I told the painter that everyone wanted to know what type of roller did he use on the car!!! He called me a D---! He's right, I'm a nut buster. We had a beer after and he was laughing when I left!!

Herbie, I got the valve covers from Ground Up, but I think they only have those and ones that say 427. Check with them, they may now have them.

Gorgeous car Mikey, none better than red 67's. I also like the valve covers, wouldn't mind having some of them on mine.

Hey badrad, just a note - I have pics from the late 60's when I was stationed on Coronado and I took pics of the bridge being built. I have seen current pics and it is amazing. I had to ship out while ony the pilings were up. Mike
