I'm with Ken, I doubt any thief can outrun 2800 feet per second projectiles.

I will pull the coil wire as well. My father told me to invest in some small padlocks. When they bought their 72' brand new, he employed small padlocks and stuck the coil wire in his back pocket.

Do you do anything to disable your car when storing it for anytime. I know that the battery comes out in the winter, but is there anything else you do ?

I have to leave the battery in it (disconnected) and also the keys. Its indoors, heated and someone there 24/7. Where I have my car I trust these guys 100% as the owner and one of his drivers are car guys. I also used to do the same kind of work (Police towing & City impound yard) in Livonia a while back.

My home and shop is constantly watched from many areas by many people and anyone that is not normally from around here will be questioned about why they are here .We have a unique neighborhood watch system in place and most people here are armed after a few robberies a few years ago . We are out in the country but we look out for each other in many ways and our LEO's are great .We have a sheriff's precint about a mile away so they are always traveling through the area and they know all of us in the community.

Ken, where I store my car, they DON'T want the keys. You park it, do any last minute things, cover it, and say good bye till April. That is unless you have made previous arrangements to get it out, or give Brian 24-48 hours notice.

Some people may not like this, but for me, it is perfect.
