I've done that a couple times over the years...registered a Chevelle but simply flew into CLE and took the Holiday Inn hotel shuttle to the show field. ;)
This hotel serves as a crash pad for airline personnel so the shuttle runs 24 hrs and is free.

Very true, I have seen the shuttle many, many times. And if really think about it, the room rates are only $82. That is pretty cheap, if you plan on spending the night. I would reserve a room ASAP if possible.
