Well tomorrow is the day, have to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM. That's great for Lynda, no getting up and waiting around half a day until the surgery. For me, not so great, going to be a long day.

Poor Annie!Hope all goes well, dogs are the best.
|
Lynda will do fine. Tell her we said best of luck.

Thoughts and prayers for Lynda for a speedy recovery .
|
Tell Lynda good luck from me and hope to see her in a couple of weeks out and about at Bakers.
|
If you guys go on the 28th (I think Bakers last for the season) I wanna ask Linda how she's doin cuz I might have to have my right one done. Judy's already got the 28th on the calendar marked "Bakers" so I guess we'll be there.

Thanks guys. They ended up doing a full replacement. She's in recovery now, just waiting until I can go see her.
Ken, doubt she'll be at Baker's, our daughter will be in town then. Everyone I know except my mom says it's the best thing they ever did. Wish they hadn't waited so long. |
Hank ,my boss said the same thing ,he is doing great and he is in his early 70's .
|
John, guy behind us had one done last year. He's 74 now and playing golf.
She had quite a bit of pain after they put her in a room. After a few different pain meds she started to doze off. That was after 3 PM and we got there at 5:30 AM, up before 4 AM. Seemed like a good time to come home, let the dog out, feed her and feed me. They did get her up around 12:30, she took a few steps but started to get a little woozy so they got her back in bed. |
After the first week she will be much better pain wise ,tell her we are thinking about her .Spoil her every chance you get.
