Seriously...I just may be knocking on one of your doors, if things get ugly down here later this summer. My wife and I are pretty nervous. If a hurricane heads this way packing crude, methane, toxins, etc, we could be in for a real doozie. I can just see lightning or electrical explosions starting a GIANT and uncontrollable fire everywhere. How do you extinguish a crude oil fire when everything is covered in it, and more is falling out of the sky?

Jake,
I never thought of that about the lighting hitting the oil and it ingniting...is that a thing that could happen? It would be one hell of a show..and get rid of the pesky oil

I think it is possible, and I'm certain the homeowners insurance companies are trying to find a way out of paying for oil/fire damage.

I saw a spot today on the web where oil is already falling out of the sky with rain, leaving rainbow oil slicks on everything.

Great.
