I am so sorry to hear about more surgery. You said that she is going to wait til summer. Is there a particular reason on waiting ?

She wants to finish out the school year.

An update on Lindsay. She had her final consultation today in New York this afternoon. She is going to have the operation May 14th and they are looking at between 10-12 hours in the OR. She will be in intensive care for 7-10 days,then 6 weeks in the hospital up there. I don't know how we are going to deal with that being 800 miles away,but we will just have to take it on a day by day basis.:(

I am just going to have to introduce Lindsay to my daughter Lacie, who lives just outside New York. Then we will have Lacie send us daily updates. Well we could try.

I am sure that everything is going to work out. Are you and Maureen going to go there for the operation ?

Gary ,I hope everything works in her favor this time and she comes home free of pain for good.Prayers still coming your way now and later.

A little update on Lindsay.Her pain has gotten. progressively worse in the past month to the point she had to quit grad school.She is now on a daily dose of morphine, and her surgery has been bumped up to the first of April.This is really starting to beat me up now.

Oh Gary...I am so sorry for you and Lindsay. Is there anyway that Lindsay can take her classes online so she could work at her own pace ?

Her classes are not offered on line.She is going to take medical leave and continue next year.
