I think it is very fair as well but I still miss that crazy donkey ,I still expect him to meet me every day for a carrot .I miss his braying from a distance letting me know he was near. He was a real sweet creature .

Thanks for thinking of us ,we will always miss him and hopefully the boys have learned from it .You would not think you would get so attached to a crazy donkey but we sure did .

I just found this thread. Sorry to hear about this. We have two mini donkeys and know how affectionate they can be.

We still miss him terribly but my neighbor is thinking about getting a pair of mini donkeys so it will be good to hear them .

We had a new pair of donkeys in our pasture for a while and was getting one of them tamed enough to pet her ,the other one was too scared to come close to us and then my brother in law decided to split them up .He took the friendly one away and left the shy one so we never see either one now .I guess it just wasnt meant to be .
