Maybe a couple of rounds in the engine too. That way the buyer won't have any expectations of it actually running.

Oh no, Mister Beckman. Certainly not directed at such a fine, upstanding, hard working man as yourself. I have been contacted by your attorney. After a lengthy conversation with him, I will be converting the Nomad to power steering immediately. Do you also wish for a steering wheel change? Do you want me to I fill the rear compartment of the Nomad with some of my best tools also? What kind of beer would you like with the case of steaks that I will be including when I deliver the car?

I'm going to have to put this off for a few days Ric. I had to dig a 120 foot long trench over the weekend. 80 feet of it is in the gravel driveway that goes to the storage building. That was tough digging. I would swing the pick 20 times, clean that gravel out and then 20 more swings. Got her done though. Conduit is buried now, all backfilled and raked. Mucho soreness has invaded my body. Will pull the wire this week. I have to attend the Township "Variance Board" meeting tonight to get authorization to do a property re-configuration. The Township Supervisor and the Township code-enforcement-inspector gave me the wrong information when I originally did the property line changes 15 or so years ago. Have to get that all straightened out now.

This POS?
https://s25.postimg.org/9dosvgs0r/Nova_1.jpg Come take this bitch for a long drive. The clown that I sent the pictures to hasn't replied, and I'm in a dealing mood. I got the approval for the property line change, so If I sell that place, I lose a 2 car garage. I need some room, so the POS is on sale today only. Well, maybe through the weekend. I have a bunch of wiring to change in the buildings. I'll knock some off the price if you come help me. |

Always loved that car Tony, it is a beauty. Wish I had a place to store it, oh and the money to buy it.
|
OK guys, back to bullshitting. Got all the wire ran to the storage building, everything is hooked up and working. Moved a huge pile of old wooden fence and posts today. Getting rid of some of the "treasures" that I've had for decades. Got to make the joint look "pretty" now for prospective buyers.
|
Wow, what a beauty. I need to hurry up and win the lottery.

Wow, great car to start with. What was it originally? 6cyl power glide? I showed my father pictures at lunch yesterday, he was drooling. He was a teenager when those cars were new. Muscle cars really resonate with him. But, he really prefers pre - 49' stuff. (Which I could care less about, I love muscle cars)

Thanks Brian. Car was originally a 350/4 speed SS. I found the computer card in the rear seat. The original owner drove it for 2 years before he died. He was a Viet-Nam soldier. Raced it at the local Pennsylvania tracks and scattered the original engine and trans. It sat in his dads dairy farm barn for 22 years. I talked to his dad a few times. It has some flat plates welded on the front sub-frame for a tow bar. The rear fender lips are rolled so he could get a 10" tire under it. Real nice job on the fenders.
I started another project here today, but when I get some time I'll post a few pictures of the 34 for your dad to look at. What the hell, I'll stick some of the Nomad on here too. I took a buddy for pretty good ride in it. When we got back, he said "This SOB is LETHAL!" It goes pretty good. |
Interesting back story to go along with it. What gears are in it?
I think something similar happened with my 69' Malibu. The original engine and transmission are long gone. Had a B body 300 HP 350 and an early 3/4" shaft M20 in it. The M20 I picked up for the car recently is out of a 69' Nova. The guy I bought it from grew up in Detroit. |
Nova has a 12 bolt with 3.73 positraction.
Here is my Nomad. https://s25.postimg.org/cemn8ui1n/Nomad_4.jpg https://s25.postimg.org/biq5te8d7/Nomad_1.jpg https://s25.postimg.org/bzbvmqpjv/Nomad_9.jpg https://s25.postimg.org/4r08xgctb/Nomad_6.jpg |
I love the Gomad .
|
Wow the gomad is nice
|
Very nice Tony. I see a trend here... 427s in everything.
|
Thanks. I do like the 427 engines. Pretty high-winding engines and pull hard!
The 34 has a 1957, 392 Hemi with an 1/8" stroker crank. 500 HP. |
Hey Brian, here are some pictures of my 34 that you can show your dad.
