She's driving some each day and going to PT twice a week. Doc put her on "Symbalta" (don't know spelling)…..its actually a anti-depressant medication but it also eases pain in nerves......and its helping her with her foot problems.

That's good news Ken.

Funny you mentioned the anti-depressant. Ortho Doc prescribed some cream for my shoulder that they mix up at a compounding pharmacy. So I look at what's in it. Some medication that the only use I can find is as an anti-depressant. Another that's for hypertension, high blood pressure. The others make sense but I shook my head at those two. Had to stop using it anyway because my skin developed a rash from it. Kind of surprised because I've had all kinds of nasty stuff on my hands over the years and never had a rash from it.

Not gonna ask whats been in them nasty hands...…….Well Judy's been going to PT twice a week and its doing some good. The girl she has at "Team Rehab" is very good and Judy likes her a lot. She only has another couple weeks thats covered by insurance.....so Nichole tells Judy...….we're going to comp you as many visits as you need.....WOW wasn't expecting that at all.

Go back and see the Doctor in Jan.

Good that's she's improving. Tell to keep up the good work.

Well, I am amazed at what the new Chrio was able to do for me. I'm back to work with hardley any real pain. I spent the last two days building a road through the swamp. I use the Kubota tractor to load a bucket of sand in the Gator, drive to the new road, unload the Gator with a shovel and spread it out. About 40 loads so far. I'm sore, but not in pain. I have been able to get some palmetto roots dug out, cut down trees, cut up fallen logs and trees, load the trailer with brush and limbs, dig trenches for the garage downspout drains, emptied and moved the storage shelves on the mezanie twice, and a whole bunch of other shit. It sure feels good to be working again!

Good for you Tony. Now slow down a little or you'll hurt yourself again.

Have a Merry Christmas.

Hank, I'm working a little smarter. I bought a new Sthil MS250. It's a few pounds lighter than the 290 Farm Boss, and it does make a big difference. Not lifting with my back either.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Went back and saw the Doctor yesterday. He gave her a clean bill of health. So she says...am I ok enough to have my other hip replaced? Yes, by all means, go ahead with the surgery. I hope we never have to through any metal detectors in the future LOL. She looked at me and said I want to get this done now so we don't have to miss another car season...……..WHAT A GAL !!

Glad to hear that Judy is doing well. I am hoping to do my first car show of the year this Saturday, if it doesn't rain.

That's great Ken. Lynda got a little card when she had her knee replaced. Show it when you go through metal detectors and the sirens and flashing lights go on.
