Goin out right now to fire up the snow blower. IS IT ALMOST SPRING YET???

Any minute now, haven't you noticed the days getting longer.

Been only 31 for the last few days where I'm working, but the fog has really been bad. Less then 500 feet at time and very icy one the roads.

Its been rainy and cold today with the temps hovering at 41 degrees all day ,same expected for tomorrow.

2 days ago I was out blowin snow.......today its been in the high 40's.........tomorrow back down in the cellar...........krazy ass weather......no wonder so many people gettin sick.

Still rainy and cold here today ,stilll hovering around 41 degrees .

Nice day today everyone I know has power back and now going down in the teens again for the week.

Great! My son really wanted to go to the Winter Classic on New Years day. Someone at work had 2 tickets for sale and he asked me to go with him. So I get to sit outside at the Big House for 3 hrs or so, 17 * out and watch the Red Wings and Maple Leafs play. At least it will be a one of kind event, largest attendance for a hockey game ever.

High of 80*, humid and rainy. Kind of a crappy day, was so bored this afternoon - I took a 2 hour nap with the dog.

It's still cloudy and cool here today ,hope to see the sun again soon.

Just keeps getting better and better. Going to the Winter Classic at the Big House on New Years Day. High in the teens and now they're saying 7.4" of snow in Ann Arbor on the 1st.

That much snow on the 1st ? Oh man. I know that tonight it was 17 degrees when we were out at 7pm. And we are supposed to get down to single digits tonight. What a way to start the new year. brrrrrrrr.

We did not see the sun today but it was not too cold ,around 50 degrees .

Just put the tractor away again. Only a couple of inchs last night, just enough to make it more miserable. Wind chill way below zero again. Once again I state that I HATE WINTER!!!!

Another 2" of snow, time to bundle up and get the snow blower fired up for another trip up and down the driveway.

One good thing is that this will help the lakes in the spring as they have been down for the couple of years.

Its still cloudy and cold here but thankfully no ice or snow crap.

They've changed the forecast, now it's only supposed to be a couple inches.

Good luck and have fun...I heard 4 to 5 inches starting at Midnight tonight through tomorrow.

I heard that too......right now its 14*......think I'll go have a Klondike Bar.

Hank, I hope you didn't get caught in all that traffic this morning. I think that we are actually supposed to get more snow than Flint. That usually doesn't happen. But Ken, I think you are supposed to get 6+ inches. My kids are hoping for a snow day tomorrow.

School around here doesn't reopen until the 7th (Monday).
Thankfully, not much chance of a "snow day"....I pray!!

It started snowing sometime after midnight New Years eve. It's still snowing, hasn't stopped. Not heavy wet snow, too cold for that, but it just keeps coming. Supposed to be -2 tonight and next Tuesday a high of 1. My fingers got numb cleaning the driveway today and that was driving the tractor not shoveling.

Was 53 and raining here at lunch time. Now no more rain, sun trying to peak thru, very windy and 41.
Hope the wind dries out the roads before later tonight...forecast to dip well into the 20s. :(

My fingers stayed warm. I just sent my 3 kids outside to shovel. Of course they didn't do as good a job as I would, but I stayed toasty warm. lol

I watched the news this morning to see if our schools were closed. Nothing at 6am, so my son Jacob hopped in the shower. I got my daughter Lauren up about 6:10am, they are both in High School and we leave at 7:15 am.

6:15am my phone rings. It is an automated call from the school district telling me that school was cancelled for the day. So I tell the kids to go back to bed, Jacob is bummed cause he is still in the shower. 6;17am, Davids cell phone rings...it is the school district. 6:20 am I receive an e-mail telling me school is cancelled. Still nothing on any of the news channels. I am going back to bed ! 6:29am...my cell phone rings....it is the school district again.. Really ? By now I have given up on getting any sleep. The school being cancelled finally showed up on the local channels at 6:45am. I was just thankful that I didn't have to go out in the frigid cold. And how was your morning ?

Looks like it colddddddddd on the east side of the U.S. Some rain is due here tonight, but 50 today. Dry for the weekend. We are headed for a drought at this point if the mountains don't get any snow this winter. We are only at 10 percent of normal for the year and the ski resort are trying to make snow just to stay open.

This global warming is kicking our ass here. 4 below zero, wind chill about 20 below. The dogs don't even want to go outside.

Dog woke me up at 4 AM to go out. She's 13 yrs old, getting a little senile.

Down south here in Brighton it only got to -2.

I dont know how ya'll stand the cold and snow youre getting ,it would shut us down til spring here .I got to try to get my furnace going again .

When that snow hits Hank, I plan to be down there with the "Georgia Boys".

Got up this morning and had to wear a sweat shirt over my t shirt.
Its 57 out on the patio.
Tomorow should be in the hi 70s

Last year when I came to Florida it had record lows. I could have stay home for that. Looking forward to some warmer weather. Hope it warms up next week some.

Cold, windy, never even got to 50 degrees today. Warmer tomorrow, almost 80 Sunday. Back 40s and windy again by Tuesday. :mad:

Looks like Tony skated out of town just in time. Supposed to start snowing tonight and continue through Sunday and into Monday, up 9" around here. Then the temps nose dive, couple of days with highs below 10*. Been 5 years since we had a high of less than 10 and about 20 yrs since we had 2 days in a row with highs below 10. I can't wait to see the gas bill, may not be able to to FL in Feb, won't be able to pay for gas for the motorhome.

I had a friend call me from NY today and said it's going to set record low highs monday. Sounds like around 6 degrees or colder

Hank, check again......snow 12" Monday 2*, Tuesday 0* those are the highs. They say that maybe the wind chill on Tuesday could get -30*....AINT IT SPRING YET????

All depends on what station you watch Ken. They're still calling for around 9.5" around here on Fox 2.

We got 4-5 overnight. I let the dog out this morning and she ran out back to pee. I had to laugh because it looked like she was laying down in the snow, couldn't see her legs at all. We did have snow on the ground before it started again last night.
