Unloaded the car today after getting in late last night. Took it out and left some rubber in the area.

I hope you left some rubber on those tires Ray.
Flash, can't wait to see in you Ohio. |
With the posi it uses both sides, so I have equal wear on the tires. Lol

Got the pan off, went over EVERYTHING with a fine-toothed comb. Cannot find anything hitting or rubbing. Decided to move forward and swap camshafts and lifters.
That said, if anyone needs a good cam for a big block... I have one, barely used. It's a Crane Blueprint cam - tweaked for the pure stocks. The application is 350 & 360 HP 396, 385, 390, & 400 HP 427, and 70' - 72' LS5 454. It's a small cam by most standards, but packs some extra power due to the tweaks. I swapped to something slightly bigger that still fits the rules - in search of a few extra jigga watts. |
