WOW! I just went through the whole build thread. Nice work. I do metal and fab work for a living and wouldn't have saved the panels you did. My hat's off to ya'. I'm glad the paint worked out. I thought it was going to be another horror story. I started painting a little over 25 years ago because I couldn't afford to pay someone. I'm glad I learned. I've had some expensive lessons over the years, but it's worked out for the best.
Again, glad you got her home. I'm looking forward to seeing it all reassembled. |
Currently my car is at a friends shop. He has a lift and we are SLOWLY putting the car back together. I will post some pictures soon.

Slow going is the word of the day. I have been scrambling around trying to find chrome trim channels that the weatherstripping glues into. Plus I seemed to misplace the little parts that attach to the lock cylinders. Thankfully I have a buddy thats parting out a couple chevelles here local. The fact this car is at a friends shop limits my participation. Being when I am available to work on it, hes closed!
But we are making very slow progress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Thanks for the update .
