Has there been much rain where you are at? Been a bunch in Citrus County. My new trail going through the swamp is flooded.

We haven had rain since May. So many fires in all the states around Oregon, plus the ones here in this state. Air quality sucks and have to stay in doors to breathe these days. We are in the 90's for the last month. Not normal for us. No rain in site.

My brother went through Oregon last week in his motorhome. He said the smoke was unreal in Washington, Cal, and Oregon. He could smell smoke for days on his trip.

Smoke is back. 3 miles visibility. Air is really not healthy to breathe. In the 90's still. Staying mainly indoors these next few days.

Big thunder and wind storm last night. I spent the morning cutting up a giant willow tree that got knocked down. Much heat and humidity today too.

Pretty much every afternoon. Looks like you guys are going to get even more this week with that storm system developing in the gulf.

I've been watching that storm. My place is built high enough to stay out of the water, but the swamp and some of the pasture is under water now. The guys that live down there say this could be real bad. The river is only 4" from major flood stage right now. There are roads in Dunnellon that are flooded now that have never been flooded before.

We've been going from drought to down pours and hot. 22 days above 90 this summer, average is 9 and we ain't done yet.

Broke the record or should say shattered the record for 90° days. We are at 30 now. Expect 90 tomorrow, but been in the 80's this last week. Still no rain, so cooler, but still very dry.
