And we finally pushed the 72' Chevelle I bought for my father into the shop. (It had been sitting outside under a lean to behind the garage)

I've been wanting to work on my 72', but been busy fighting a few issues with my truck. TQ converter stopped locking up, no codes, SES lights, fluid is fine. Hoping to sort it out or at least pin point the problem tomorrow.

I keep walking around it. Looking at it trying to not touch it with grease. Now that is has a dash I do sit in it and dream occasionally.

Got an offer on my 499 distributor today, worked out an even swap for the 488 distributor I needed for my 69' Malibu. :D

Now, lacking an air cleaner. Does anyone have a factory 4bbl air cleaner for a 69'-up Chevelle/Camaro/Nova? I think they used them through the mid 70s.

Traded my repop SS hood for a factory flat hood and some cash. (For my 69' Malibu) That was the last piece of sheet metal I was lacking.

I have a Optima gel cell battery in mine. I do not want battery acid ever leaking on my car. Friend had a cheap battery explode and had acid all over everything.

Took the Chevelle out for a cruise today.

LOL killin me cruisin and got good weather.

I sat in mine with the window half down. Newly installed. And had my wife take a picture of me sittin in it. Close as I can get to cruising at the moment.

So where is the picture ? LOL

Okay you ask for it. I am ugly and the car is dirty LOL.
