Got my truck on the dyno today, finally tuned and dialed in. It runs excellent. The final numbers were 349 RWHP and 384 RWTQ. Safe tune, 87 octane. Could have run 93 and chased more power, but it's $0.50 more per gallon - and it's no race truck.

Those are some pretty impressive numbers!

Thanks Tony. The jump in torque is noticeable everywhere. It will destroy a set of tires at will. The true test will be when I run across a new RAM R/T on the street. I have seen a few run mid 13s right off the lot.

Nothing else in a new truck will be competition. That was partially my goal, to be able to outrun any new truck available, without having an ill mannered piece of crap. And without spending a wheelbarrow load full of money.

I have been playing with my new toy. It sat for years and looked horrible. I have been sitting out in the mud sanding and buffing. Pressure washed the covers and cleaned the interior.

It is another jigsaw puzzle to assemble. I seem to thrive on that kind of stuff. It is actually in really good shape tho. Just sitting un used was its biggest problem.

I got one side done on the color. Which is the hardest part. Color sanding the gel coat getting the oxidation off of it to buff. White parts are easy just 3000 them smooth get the chalky off and buff.

Soon as the sun comes up i be out there all day doing it again. I got the other side about ready. I got the area in back which is a pain because it is under the swim platform.

I installed a "Rhino" grille guard on the 2011 Express all-wheel drive van yesterday. Supposed to be a simple bolt on job. Not so. Many hours of making things fit. I put it on hoping the next deer that I hit won't cause 7 grand of damage.

Saw one of those Ram R/Ts this morning, still haven't run across one on the street yet.

Yesterday, merged onto the interstate like usual, steering gets hard and temperature gauge begins to climb. Damnit... it spit the belts off. From what I can see, the AC belt came off and popped the main belt off. I was able to muscle it back in while on the side of the road. Didn't have any tools with me...

I drove the 72 Chevy truck to Cokers Tire Cruise In yesterday and it developed a pretty bad skip going up .I had hoped to work on it today but split wood instead ,trying to get the wood out of my mowing path.
