shadowgray396 03-10-2014 03:25 PM

Rain has come to an end finally. Looks like partly cloudy and about 60 the rest of the week. If I have to be home I'm glad the weather is going to get better. There saying 66 on Saturday and 71 on Sunday. I hope they are right. It will be time to get the Chevelle back out.

carpoor 03-10-2014 06:35 PM

Beautiful weather yesterday and today. Similar weather is expected the next two days. (temps in the low 80s) Supposed to be barely 70* Thursday, and low 70s Friday. I am so sick of this see saw weather we keep having. One day hot and sunny, then cold and rainy with no sun the next.

Ken Hayes 03-10-2014 06:44 PM

They say we're getting 4"-6" more snow starting Tues night............aint it ever gonna STOP

flash 03-10-2014 08:31 PM

We had another great weather day today ,sunny and warm .

Ken Hayes 03-11-2014 12:20 PM

Now they friggin updated it.........4"- 8.5" of more snow.

Glad I'm not there to enjoy it with you. Been in the upper 70's to mid 80's since we've been here. At home it's the winter that never ends, unbelievable weather this year.

flash 03-11-2014 07:40 PM

It was another top down day here .

BillsCamino 03-11-2014 08:02 PM

Yeah, great weather day for two plumbers to dig up a portion of my front yard and replace a section of "compromised" sewer pipe. :(

Bummer......

Ms Grumpy 03-11-2014 08:06 PM

I have spent the past few days, and 100lbs of salt finding the end of my driveway. And now we are getting more snow and the friggin snow plows are going to deposit more ice at the end of my driveway. I am going nuts !!!

We are only about 10" away from being the snowiest winter on record. There are records that I would like to break, but not the snow record.

shadowgray396 03-11-2014 09:04 PM

Wow it has been a long winter for you. Spring is only a week away. We are going to be in the 60's the rest of the week.

Ken Hayes 03-11-2014 10:27 PM

Got to 54* today......rainin right now, at 11:00pm all the alert sirens went off, its 41* and droppin fast, will start snowin in a bit and not supposed to stop till tomorrow afternoon. OH WOOPIE

Ken Hayes 03-12-2014 10:15 AM

It started snowin during the night and boy did it snow. There is close to 6" of new snow on the ground and it don't look like its stopping any time soon. Judy left for work around 8:15am and at 9:00 you couldn't see the tire tracks in the driveway. Right now theres about a 2 1/2' drift in the driveway between the houses. I aint going out there till its done.

shadowgray396 03-12-2014 10:44 AM

Time for spring for you guys. You can't seem to get a break. So how much snow has melted since you were at 54? Has the grass even shown back up yet? I have to mow my grass today, it's getting long.

RBeckman 03-12-2014 11:00 AM

We have over 8 inches of snow on the ground right now and drifting and still snowing. I decided to work from home today for second day in a row and after it stops I then got two hours of snowblowing and shoveling at least get out the driveway. I'm done with this crap.

flash 03-12-2014 11:05 AM

We had rain move in last night ,its clearing now and going to get cold again but luckily no snow .

BillsCamino 03-12-2014 12:49 PM

The last time I left the country...y'all got three days of ice.
DON'T let that ever happen again John!!!!! I'm leaving tonight...:D

flash 03-12-2014 01:36 PM

Bill ,have a good trip and tell Liz and Liam hello from Joan and I ,and we will try to keep the snow and ice away .

Ms Grumpy 03-12-2014 06:24 PM

Safe travels Bill. This morning David and I decided to go out. I decided that there was too much snow on the van to get out the ice scraper so I just went into the garage and pulled out the push broom. It still took a few minutes because the snow was pretty heavy.

I was amazed at how much ice was built up under the snow. It was like driving down a dirt road, even on the expressway at 10am. We traveled at about 45 mph and people were flying past me, and we saw at least 4 cars on the embankment after they had spun out.

I am not sure how much snow we got, but it was too much. lol I had just gotten the front of the garage cleaned up and was going to pull the Toyota out, it hasn't seen the light of day since the beginning of December. I don't drive it much in the snow so we put it in the garage while the Malibu is in storage. But now I have to make sure that there is no snow in front of the garage again. But I hear we might be in the 40's by Friday. Welcome to Michigan !!

Ken Hayes 03-12-2014 10:07 PM

Nancy, we got over 6.5" last night and today. All we need now before the 1st day of Spring is 3.1" more snow and we will break the record of 96.3" in 1880/81.

The temp now is 14* and the wind chill is 1* and its supposed to get colder tonight.

BillsCamino 03-13-2014 11:33 AM

A little foggy and 49 degrees here in Dublin @ 4:30pm...4 hr time difference right now.
They don't do Daylight Savings for a few weeks yet.

shadowgray396 03-13-2014 10:22 PM

Have a safe trip.

BillsCamino 03-14-2014 10:51 AM

Nice day in Dublin. Took my wife on her annual Dublin shopping spree on Grafton St today. :D
The town is really geared up for St. Patty's Day on Monday.
I'm fortunate enough to be able to drive my buddy Liam's '72 Chevelle SS in the parade again this year...leading the club's collection of American Muscle cars viewed by a crowd of thousands.
Club gives out over 2,200 green beaded necklaces and over 200 stuffed animals that I bring over from the States.
Always a BIG hit with the crowd!!!

flash 03-14-2014 11:01 AM

I look forward to Liam's pictures ,he always takes the best pics .Have a good time while there .

shadowgray396 03-14-2014 09:50 PM

That sounds like a great time.

carpoor 03-15-2014 08:20 AM

Currently 60* here, waiting for it to warm up just a little bit more. (10* more) Then, time to thrash on the car the rest of the day.

BillsCamino 03-15-2014 04:21 PM

Sunny, relatively warm for this time of the year (low 60s) but WINDY!!

Spent the day in Northern Ireland...checked out the Peace Wall that separated the Catholics & Protestants, toured the Titanic museum in Belfast and stopped in to view St. Patrick's burial site in Downpatrick.

flash 03-15-2014 08:03 PM

It was a nice warm day here ,didnt go to the Canton cruise in ,was dissappointed not to have my truck back.

shadowgray396 03-20-2014 10:15 PM

Going to be in the 60's this weekend and sunny.

Ken Hayes 03-21-2014 08:57 AM

Right now its 30*, sun shining, warmin up and gonna be a pretty day (just a bit cold).

As long as its not raining on Sunday March 30th, I plan on bringing the Chevelle home from storage on Monday the 31st...........hope it don't rain or snow!!!!!!!!!!! Even if I leave it in storage for a couple of days into April, I would have to pay for the whole month...I don't wanna do that.

flash 03-21-2014 11:09 AM

It is very nice here today ,clear and sunny with a high of 70 forcast .

shadowgray396 03-21-2014 07:05 PM

Maybe 70 here on Monday, that would be nice.

shadowgray396 03-25-2014 09:49 PM

Was 70 yesterday, but back to rain for the rest of the week.

chevymaher 03-25-2014 10:30 PM

Not for long...but then turning wet for the weekend. Which is OK...I've got plenty to keep me busy between building a new kitchen and Chevelle drivetrain swap projects.:D

shadowgray396 03-27-2014 08:22 AM

More rain for us into next week. Headed north next week. I will be not that far from where the slide was in Washington.

Ms Grumpy 03-27-2014 07:38 PM

Hail, snow, rain, sleet, snow and rain again. That is how today went around here. Welcome to Michigan. But it did reach 40 degree today. WooHoo !!! lol
