Just ideas but. What carb you have? Does it have a brass filter in the carb. They are terrible when they clogg.

I have a holley 750 those fittings are not on my carb anymore because i have a full AN fitting setup on mine

I'm not sure if it matters but it doesn't look like your carb is a double pumper, just has fuel inlet for both bowls. Besides the popping noise it sounds like the float levels or the fuel pump not being able to keep up.

so i went out today and checked the float levels the front one i had spot on. the rear one was off just by a little. i followed the video and now i have it exactly the same. I guess it not a double pumper then. but here is what i got today just to show you

It dropped to zero. It isn't getting gas.

lol so i was right its the pump right?...lol

My money is on the pump now.

lol now my problem is no one has any fuel pumps in stock...lol
