John, it will work with the 700R4 too. Bowtie Overdrives has the bracket for the TV cable IIRC.

Yes.
Only reason I'm not reusing the 700R that was in the Camaro is because the 5.3L came with a L60E.
Uses the same driveshaft yoke.
