Sorry Randy but I had to laugh a little. Glad you found it and it wasn't a major problem.

I laughed too. About an hour after it was fixed. What was it Buford T. Justice said?
Sumbitch......

God it feels good to drive my car again without the anticipation of the bang.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions. I hope somebody gets some good out of my experience. (everybody but Hank-- he laughed) LOL

Thanks,
Randy:)

I thought his rear quarter was going to fall off or he would see the the rear end in the rear view mirror. Now he tells us it's a bracket thingie for a cable. :D

Okay, Hank. Now you're down to a hamburger and a warm glass of water.
Keep it up and you will owe me dinner!!!:p

Hank70SS 06-23-2010 05:54 PM

Okay, we'll just call it even. Actually not sure why you would owe me anything in the first place. You have to admit, after all you went through then find out it's cable bracket, hook, whatever, is kind of funny. Well at least it is to me. :D

Glad to hear it was something simple... reminds me of last night trying for hours to diagnose trailer light problems on my truck. Next time I'll check the fuses FIRST :o

Hank70SS 06-24-2010 01:46 PM

Sounds like how I would do it. Start at the trailer and make sure all the wiring is perfect. Slowly work my way back until I get to the fuse box. At least when you get done you know all the wiring is good.
