Got some more done. Contractor should have all the roofs on by this weekend. I'm really liking it so far.

Looking good Tony. That's going to be an impressive place when done.

Looks very nice ,are you planning to live there year round or just a winter get away ?

Ken Hayes 12-19-2013 10:14 AM

Hope ya dont get any hail storms down there........gonna sound like a gazillion machine guns goin off with that roof. Lookin good Tony. That link had some real neat pics.....is that your land in em?

FlintTony 12-19-2013 11:39 AM

Yep, gonna make some noise in a hail storm. I'm putting 6" of open-cell spray in foam insulation in the ceiling, so it should quiet it down some. I'm planning on just spending the coldest months down there for now. The link I posted is to my property. It actually surveyed out at 19.75 acres, but I am in the process of doing some swapping with the neighbor for 2 more acres. He wants acess to the river from my canal, so in order to keep from building another road on my place, I'm trading him for a road that is already there.

Thanks Hank. Not a bad joint for an old, long haired, busted-up, tattoed biker/plumber, if I may so so myself.

FlintTony 12-19-2013 06:13 PM

Guys been busy. Roofs are done. I am really digging the way it looks.

I'm going to clear a spot in the woods for him. I don't need to see his ugly self looking at me all the time. And he makes a lot of noise.

I stopped by Hanks house the other day and he has the motorhome all packed ready for the trip down to your new place. I have a picture below so you know what size it is and get the woods cleared out.

Wow! Hey Hank, when did you get the new motor-home? It looks a lot better than your old one!

Hank70SS 12-20-2013 07:23 AM

Ric, that pic was taken before I was done packing. I found some old lumber we can use for the blueberry stand, threw that on top. I was going to tow a car down there but I may have to switch to towing a trailer for the house warming gifts I'm taking for Tony and Kathy. Basically a bunch of stuff I need to get rid of. Don't worry Tony, I'll wash the motorhome before we get to your place, so it'll look a lot better than in that pic.

Hank ,on your way down stop by here and I will throw some junk ,I mean house warming gifts in as well.

FlintTony 12-21-2013 07:41 AM

Contractor is done for now. No more pictures until I get my lazy ass down there and get the plumbing and electrical ground work done.

I hope to be there right after the first of the year. MIL is getting out of the hospital Monday and coming to stay with us for a while. Don't know how that is going to go. We'll see.

How about I bring some of this miserable ICE with me?
