Still combing over every inch of my car, touching up any blemishes. Fingers crossed... going to apply some paint SOON.

congrats that is a huge milestone.

Not really the weather here to do anything on the Chevelle. Is supposed to be warm, in the 40's, for the next week. Of course they dumped a few tons of salt on the roads around here a few days ago. If they hadn't done that I'd take it out for a ride.

Thanks. I went over after work and unmasked it. It was like unwrapping a present. I am glad I have the friends I do. My friend was down on vacation and sprayed the car for me. He does it for a living. I do not regret letting someone more experienced paint it. The car came out really slick, and I learned a lot by watching & listening.

The way you work, I'm thinking you will be driving it this weekend! Car sure looks good.

Going to let it sit a few weeks before I wet sand and buff it. I need to get it running again and hope the carb isn't in need of another rebuild from letting it sit. April is my hope for registering and insuring.

Been wet sanding - a little here, a little there. I am in no rush.
