No luck finding a 90 degree part to connect my flapper. Going to look for one as I progress along with the project.
Right now Im working on installing the new wire harness. Ive got most the dash connectors located. Im stumped on two connectors.
The markings on the new wires don't seem to jive with the old stuff or Im lost. Very possible Im off! If only the new harness tech support was open nights and weekends.
I cant seem to find were to connect the idiot lights bulb sockets to the new harness? Where's the hi beam indicator located on a 72? Can not remember :(
Can any body advise about were the wires in the diagram connect to?

It seems there is a update harness and a OEM replacement harness. I have the update, but want to use stock sweep gauges. Calling tech support today!
Were is everyone these dayz? Have I bored everyone?

Figured you had it all figured it out. What 90 degree are you missing for the flapper?

smokenjoep01 07-31-2013 06:23 AM

Its the part that connects the flapper to the actuator.

Got the dash harness in. It took me a little extra time, but I soldered and heat shrunk all the connections.

Im stumped on how the top row of speedometer lights are getting there power. I didn't see any wires powering the strip going to the bulbs. Any idea were the blueish looking strip in the photo gets power?

I have not seen that bracket before. My pods bolts directly to my outside cowl induction door, without a spring ??????????

I also checked everything I have, and no pictures I have show that bracket.

We are talking about your 72 correct?
