Looks like the rains are returning here tonight. still in the mid 50's for day time highs

Bill ,if you are still down there I would stay a few more days ,it looks like its going to get very interesting up here .And if I can make it to work in the morning I will be there until this next batch of freezing crap goes away ,expecting lots of snow .I just hope we keep power on this time .Our campus is already closed as far as classes tomorrow but we have all our on campus students to look out for and lots of walkways to keep clear .If power stays on the darlings can keep themselves amused inside I hope .

Ray ,I would gladly trade you what we are about to get for the rain ,I have had way too much snow .

Have I mentioned I HATE SNOW .

I escaped the northeast 30+ years ago as a child. But I was old enough to remember the cold. Plus I lived in Central Virginia for about three years later in life. I shoveled plenty of snow and worked in the cold enough in that time to know that it wasn't for me.

I have a feeling we will be shoveling a lot of snow off the sidewalks tomorrow and we have miles of walkways .

75 here in Phoniex area, my son took me out to his companies 200 acres north of Phoniex that is six miles off the main road down a road in the wash, got to shoot a sniper rifle, automatic AR and some skeet...it was a great day and we are off tomorrow to Vegas for our trip home to the frozen Tundra of Michigan....I need to retire ASAP. I hit the targets at 400, 500 yards so I'm happy

I could think of a couple of better targets but they are not near there ,glad you are having fun .

We got a total of 2 inches of snow for the months of January and February so far this winter. And that was in the mountains. The skiers are not happy campers this year.

I have shoveled more snow and ice the last few days than I ever care to do again ,Im exhausted .

Hold on John...it'll get better soon. Temps in the 70's by next Wed and only rain.

Drove my pickup for the 1st time in a week. A couple sharp turns, some abrupt braking and all the snow fell off it. ;)

The snow is still covering everything up here ,Im ready for it to be gone . At least all the roads are clear ,county and state did much better this year .

Week 2 mowing grass and yard work. You guessed it sunshine and almost 60 today.

It got up to 62 here today but still have snow everywhere .Im still tired from all the snow shoveling the last few days .Im just hiding in the house for a while ,resting.

Rest up, hopefully with the warmer weather the snow will be gone in no time.

Been in the low to mid 80's since last week, supposed to be the same for at least another week.

It actually got up to about 60 here yesterday and melted the rest of the snow ,now its mild temps with rain which I hope will be enough to wash the salt away.

I got 8 inches of snow in the yard. It is raining and going to 50. Then dropping below freezing. Then we supposed to get 6-8 inches. Oh boy that will insulated the ground. This mess wont melt till july LOL.

I hope we dont get anymore but will just have to wait and see .

65 they are saying by the weekend. Sunny and mid 50's till then.

50 here and thunderstorms. It may just get this snow melted off. It is raining hard. forecast is for 7-12 inches now. I be a shoveling fool tomorrow.

Right now its 36°, but earlier today we got 2" of snow and then freezing rain.

Warm enough that I needed to use the A/C in my truck the past few days. :D

28 this morning, but got up to 60. I may need to water the lawn this weekend.

Having my coffee, Then out to shovel snow. And there a bunch of it. Weather report says nothing bit clear skies for a week. Getting to 60 next week. It kinda late in the year and very unseasonable for here to be this cold. This may be the last one. I got my fingers crossed.

My grand kids in Louisiana had 80 degree weather yesterday and NO SCHOOL today due to freezing rain. :confused:

Our weather yesterday was pretty strange ,humid and sticky ,now its drisly and getting cold ,Im ready for sunshine and dry.I want to take the old truck to commerce on saturday to the swap meet .

Warmer than usual down here by close to 10 degrees. Pretty humid too, luckily it's been breezy so it's not too bad.

I-65 in KY is closed for the past 12 hrs...up to 2 feet of snow/ice.

Delta flight in LaGuarda slid off runway today...snapped off wing going thru fencing.

A high of only 68* yesterday, started out at 49* around 6:30 this morning. Currently 53*, starting to doubt the claim of a 72* high today.

65 yesterday here. Saying 70 tomorrow. About 15 degrees above normal.

Whoo-Who it already 30 degrees here. Break out the tank tops.

Rain in the forecast all next week for around here. Hope that doesn't translate into snow for the Northeast.
I'm leaving Wed evening for Europe...1st stop is London/Heathrow and won't be back Stateside until April.

Was almost a nice day around here today. Temps above freezing and we are anticipating temps reaching the 50's by the middle of next week. For those of us in the north our biggest issue will probably be the amount of snow melting and puddles of water.

It was nice here today. I had to move all the new parts out from under the chevelle. Seems the fast melt was making a lot of water. Snow on the other side of the sidewalk was acting like a dam by the garage door. So the yard melt and water dripping off the snow melting on the roof. Seems the gutters are full and clogged right now for some odd reason. Is running under the door. And right under the chevelle to the drain. No biggie just a quick Oh I got to move this stuff. Rear bumper and bumper brackets.

They got local flood warnings in low lying areas. Well I live on top the hill. I wasn't rekonin it was affecting me. Live and learn.

It was a great day here ,it finally warmed up enough to get the truck out and I loaded it full of spare parts and went to the swapmeet ,sold a lot of stuff and made some good cash too .I could not get the stuff off the truck fast enough ,people lined up buying .

49* at 4:30am today. I got to work and was told to plan on staying an extra 2-3 hours. I bet it will be nice and sunny while I am stuck at work vs. being dark and dreary yesterday. Just my luck...

We made it to 70 yesterday. Trimmed the trees at the beach house and it was 60 there. More sun balls this week again.

We got grass showing again here. It all be gone in another couple days. 50 today had the garage open tossing out all the scrap and metal I wont use in the truck.

Tee shirts and shorts today. No complaints here. Just enjoying what Mother nature is giving us. Almost 75. Mowed and edge all the lawn today and took the Chevelle out twice today for a cruise.

Now were are in kentucky. Heat at night air conditioning in the daytime

Its very soggy here but at least it aint freezing .
