Well I got my Summit gift certificate today and let me tell you without any question I know what I will be spending it on............unfortunately this week I have discovered a nasty bearing noise very much like a cummings turbo diesel. That and some missing oil pressure spells pulling my 427 this week. So $500 in my Chevelle funds + $100 gift certificate is wishfull thinking. MUST SELL STUFF. So ask around gang, I have a fresh 396/402 and a ton of other parts. And now my 15 inch ralleys have to go also, they have like new Radial T/A's 245/50's. Anyway David and Nancy, thanks so much, timing couldn't have been better.

Well, the guy I bought the car from could only tell me that the 396 has less than 200 miles on a mild rebuild with a 270 comp cam. He came across a 427 so he swapped it out, and it has just been sitting on a stand looking all pretty with an edelbrock intake and chrome goodies. I checked into the casting numbers and it's a 1969-1970 402. It seems to be from an SS car so I believe it is at least a 325 HP or possibly a 350 HP??????? The only thing I know is it has to go quick, so I am going to take the loss. Engine stand included. Make me an offer.......Please.
