I may try to drive the vert to the going away party tonight.
|
All I need to do is install the spark plugs, prime the engine, and stab in the distributor and this puppy is ready to fire up.
May do that today. Also, ordering a few items from Vintage Air to complete that A/C installation. Compressor and condensor are in...just needing some longer plumbing to make the install more tidy to my liking. Will need these items before I can bolt in the evaporator housing. Then I can finally install the new AM/FM radio purchased from Ausley's. Whew... |
Cant wait to see your upgrades .

Decided that I am going to win the $500 million lottery on Friday night, then I will be able to do whatever I want to my car. :)
|
With that much money you can do whatever you want to do to my cars.

bought all the parts i need for my brakes :)
|
I fired up the new big block and broke it in last night.
Couldn't take the '67 out for a ride....was raining but I plan on driving it tonight, weather permitting. This baby BBC is very crisp...sounds healthy but more tame the the past few engines I've built. The Q-jet carb from SMI is right on! Just what I wanted... |
complete failure today! i spent about 2 hours learning how to do my rear brakes and then i went to take one side apart and put it back together and NOTHING was fitting! i was so mad i went back and got another setup and still wrong! so i am going to return everything and just order it from ground up not in the mood for a guessing game :(

Somethings doesn't sound right. Parts are basic for most A body cars. Did you take your old brake shoes in from one side to compare them before you picked them up? I always take parts with me to make sure I'm getting the correct parts. Even ground can send you the wrong parts at time.
