Weather is picture perfect here and also convertible perfect ,will be out cruising soon.

chevymaher 05-10-2015 10:47 AM

It is nice today. Good for the family outing at mom's.
It been in the 85-90's all last week.
Good thing the ol van is a Frigidaire.

It wilted the flowers I planted at first being so dry. They seemed to have got their roots in well now. It supposed to rain tonight tomorrow. I hope it does we need it.

chevymaher 05-11-2015 07:18 PM

It was raining real hard so I opened the door let my son watch the rain. It is coming down hard. Well it stops and there is a very small thunder sound I mean sounds like 10 miles off.
Well my son gets all excited and says hey dad check it out the light knocked down the tree. I am sitting 3 foot behind him at the door in my chair. I am like what Yea yea whatever. Then I hear the CRRRRAAAACCCK of the tree branch falling. Well he kept going on. I got up and looked. Sure enough Big branch across the house across the streets drive. I said the light did that huh. Smoke still coming off the part where it is still kinda attached to the tree.
I got a picture on the net of lightning and said is that what you saw. Yea dad.

Quietest strike I ever heard. LOL.

Ken Hayes 05-12-2015 08:37 PM

Yesterday before the storms it was between 80 n 85. Storms came in and it cooled a little. Slept with the window open and ceiling fan going. Today I hate to say it (and wont tell my wife) I had to turn on the heat. It finally got up to 54, cloudy and windy.

Hank70SS 05-13-2015 07:03 AM

It's crazy isn't it Ken. We had the door wall in our bedroom open, day and night for days. Yesterday had to turn the furnace on, what a lousy day it was. Not supposed to be much warmer today but maybe a little sun. Sun always makes it seem better.

shadowgray396 05-15-2015 10:26 PM

Cool here, but warmer at the beginning of the week. Hoping for dry weather tomorrow to go to a small show down the street for a free lunch.

shadowgray396 06-14-2015 10:27 PM

Weather has been in the 80's this weekend and this week started out in the 90's. No rain in sight for the rest of the month according to the weatherman. Fire danger started 3 weeks early and if it continues to be dry we are going to have a water shortage.

chevymaher 06-15-2015 05:27 AM

It has been high 90's here miserable. I am waiting for a fan relay for my van. So I stuck in the truck and its air don't work. I never fix it it needs a compressor. I stick all my extra cash you know where.

Hank70SS 06-15-2015 06:48 AM

Seems like we get some rain everyday and I'm really getting tired of it. Tomorrow is only day this week they're not predicting rain. It is so damp and humid here. Yesterday morning the stainless steel doors on the frig were wet with condensation. We've had that frig 7 or 8 years, never seen that before yesterday.

chevymaher 06-15-2015 07:01 AM

It has been predicted t-storms here for the last 3 days. It keps getting moved back till the next day as the time arrives.

flash 06-15-2015 08:38 AM

Its hot and humid here with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon .

BillsCamino 06-15-2015 08:58 AM

Yeah, this heat & humidity have been kicking my tail.
Been working on enclosing our 12'x30' screen porch I built on the rear of our house 20 yrs ago. Finally tired of have to pressure wash it (inside) every year after the pollen season. :(
Got it all framed in for the 11 windows that are on order...buying the plywood sheeting today.

Hank70SS 06-16-2015 07:06 AM

I think I'm going to sell the Chevelle and build an ark. Any forums dedicated to ark building?

flash 06-16-2015 11:37 AM

I think Bill had started on an Ark once.

chevymaher 06-16-2015 11:56 AM

They been predicting thunderstorms here a week now. It always been sunny. I just watered again. BUT.....it is sprinkling.
I know as cracked as the ground is we sure could use the rain.

flash 06-16-2015 01:39 PM

It is hot and sticky here .

shadowgray396 06-21-2015 11:11 AM

Set a record for most dry days in June. And there no rain in site thru next week. In fact we will be at 100 by next weekend. They are thinking about closing down the woods to keep wild fires down with 4th of July weekend coming, even though no fire works are aloud in them. Always one idiot.

carpoor 06-21-2015 11:38 AM

Mid to upper 90s and rain every afternoon. Typical summertime weather in Florida.

flash 06-21-2015 03:22 PM

It's still hot and humid here with more of the same expected ,except hotter.

shadowgray396 06-26-2015 09:20 AM

101 here today. Cooling to the 90's first part of the week and back in the 100's by 4th of July weekend. To hot.

shadowgray396 06-26-2015 06:34 PM

I think I moved to Arizona. Over 100

chevymaher 06-26-2015 07:08 PM

It has been hot here. 98 and so. Tonight it is cool and T-Storms. 70 it is saying.

shadowgray396 06-28-2015 07:43 AM

T storms this morning according to the forecast. Talking about banning private fireworks this weekend. Forecast around 100 starting Thursday and 90 everyday this up coming week. House has no AC. Haven't needed in the past, but our weather seems be be changing. Six 90 degree days a year or higher is the average. June has already set a record with no end in site.

shadowgray396 07-01-2015 10:44 PM

We are like at day 12 of 90 degree weather and no end in site for the next 14 days. Private fire works is band in some area's with over 80 grass fires for the month of June vs about 3 normal. Tomorrow is going to be 100. No car show for me this weekend to hot. Going to the coast where it about 70 there.

shadowgray396 07-05-2015 06:25 PM

Finally had to go buy an air conditioner. Over a month now of 90 degree days. Maybe in the 80's next weekend. No rain in site. I have never seen it this dry here.

flash 07-05-2015 08:33 PM

We are in western North Carolina and the weather has been wonderful ,low humidity and lower temps too .Its actually a little cool out right now at 9:30 PM ,dread going home in the morning .

shadowgray396 07-09-2015 09:24 AM

I think today is the last day of 90+ degree weather for a while. Maybe high 70 for the weekend and back into the 80's next week. April, May and June went into the record books as the driest on recorded. On 2 1/2 inches of rain

flash 07-09-2015 11:14 AM

It is hot hazy and humid here with temps in the 90's .

BillsCamino 07-10-2015 09:57 AM

I'm in western NY attending the CanAm Chevelle show this weekend.
Highs near 80...sunny...low humidity...temps at night down into the upper 50's.
A NICE break from the sweltering weather we've had in GA recently.

flash 07-10-2015 01:39 PM

Bill, bottle up some of that cool air and bring some back with you ,boy do we need it .

BillsCamino 07-10-2015 06:27 PM

John, I wish I could!!!
I put the first 9 windows into my screen porch/sun room project on Wednesday.
Damn near killed me...it was HOT. :(

shadowgray396 07-12-2015 02:05 PM

Enjoying much cooler weather. Only 75 yesterday and 77 today. Great for a car show.

chevymaher 07-12-2015 04:33 PM

Went to the family reunion. 85 degrees and rain off and on. Rain then the sun come out and make a sauna. It was awsome I tell you.

shadowgray396 07-19-2015 09:52 PM

No rain in site. Been 45 days no rain. Hit 100 again today. No talk yet about cutting back on water use. Rivers are very low and water temps are to warm that fish are dying.

Ms Grumpy 07-19-2015 10:20 PM

Went to a car show this morning. Left my house at 8am it was 77 degrees. By noon it was 84 degrees with a real feel of 97 degrees. It was hot and my son looks like a lobster.

shadowgray396 07-23-2015 10:57 PM

All of the major shows in our area are this weekend and they are calling for a wet weekend. Not alot, but most likely to keep the cars at home.

shadowgray396 07-29-2015 09:10 PM

Back to 100 again. Then mid 90's the next 7 days. This is going to be a summer for the record books.

shadowgray396 08-19-2015 12:10 AM

We are burning up around here. There is at least 10 major fires burning in Oregon. Just had a fire started by a truck exhaust in our area and burned down a couple of business from the dry shrubs around then. We just hit the record for 26 days of above 90 degree days. All of the woods have been closed down. Still no rain in site. August and September usually the driest months for us. Even the trees are dropping there leaves to survive or are dying

chevymaher 08-19-2015 05:18 PM

Same here. They keep promising rain. But it never comes.

flash 08-19-2015 05:19 PM

Sorry to hear about all the fires out there ,stay safe and hopefully ya"ll will get some much needed rain soon.We are currently getting drenched from thunderstorms ,I wish we could send some your way.
