Ray it is so hard to hear what you are going thru and I can't even imagine it. I pray that you will be getting some of the rain that we are getting here.

shadowgray396 08-20-2015 08:56 AM

The national guard is being called to help now. Over 29000 fire fighters out there in 3 western states. 3 were killed in Washington yesterday. Cooler today, but back in the 90's for the weekend.

shadowgray396 08-23-2015 11:03 AM

Smoke from all the fires in Washington and Oregon yesterday made it hard to breathe and burned your eyes. We looked like LA here

Ms Grumpy 08-26-2015 08:23 PM

Are those fires under control yet guys ?

I feel bad saying that we have had some nice cool weather in the low 70's here.

flash 08-26-2015 09:15 PM

Our weather today was great ,started off in the high 50's and breezy all day with low humidity and high's in the mid 80's .

shadowgray396 08-26-2015 11:11 PM

Biggest fire is only 10% contained. It has burned 250,000 acres. Largest fire in Washington history. Oregon still has 4 fires going across the state. We are expecting some rain on Saturday but won't get to the east side where they really need it. It will be in the 70's starting the weekend. Been in the high 80's this week.

Ms Grumpy 08-27-2015 08:31 PM

Ray I wish that the weather off of the coast of Florida was coming your way. At least all the rain.

shadowgray396 08-28-2015 09:15 AM

Sounds like we might get 1 to 2" of rain this weekend finally. The area that needs it the most is where the 2" is going to fall. East side of the state still might not see much rain, but will be cooler for the fire fighters. Crews from New Zealand and Australia are here now to help. Almost 500 square miles has burned in Washington state. Haven't heard how much in Oregon yet.

We been having a dry spell here a while. I pulled out to take the wife to work. All the yellow leaves from the girls poisoning my trees were on the ground and in the drive. We were commenting it looked windy.

Well it was dark over the hills. We were driving along and Bam it came down like cats and dogs. there was 3 inches in the road running within a mile.

Came home and it said it rained 2 inches in the 30 minutes i was gone. Pretty good lightning show to.

I been watering the yard. Not so much for the grass but to help the trees recover. This is going to help alot.

shadowgray396 09-06-2015 10:12 PM

Been raining off and on the last week. Only been around 70's. Headed to about 80 next week just perfect for this time of year.

shadowgray396 09-22-2015 01:53 PM

Hard to believe summer is over. Weather has been in the 70's around here with a little bit of rain 1 day a week. Right now our rivers at the lowest levels they been in over ten years. Ground is so dry the concern even with winter rains there may not be enough run off to bring them back up. We will see.

carpoor 09-22-2015 03:35 PM

It has cooled off about ten degrees on average here, but still hot and humid with afternoon showers. I need 70 degree temps and less humidity to paint several panels.

shadowgray396 09-27-2015 09:37 AM

Still in the 70's and dry. Hope it last till next weekend, so I can get some painting done.

BillsCamino 09-27-2015 01:12 PM

Although it's needed, 3rd day of light rain and mist here...too wet to go shooting as I had planed. :(

Textbook weather in KC yesterday for the Mid-America Chevelle show though...high mid 70s, blue skies, light breeze. Good turnout too.

flash 09-27-2015 06:23 PM

Bill ,it looks like several more days of this crap .If you like you can come up here and shoot squirrels and coyotes ,we have plenty of each.

shadowgray396 09-29-2015 02:12 PM

Going to be 80 the next few days. We are going to set a record for the most 80 degree days in a year today breaking a 1963 record. The next year was the most snow and rain and is still known for the 64 flood around here. Hope this won't be a repeat of that. Most droughts end with record rain fall.

chevymaher 09-29-2015 02:28 PM

We got a cool 71 degrees and much needed gentle long term rain today. Soak in the ground and not just run off.

carpoor 09-29-2015 06:57 PM

Very hot and humid weekend with plenty of rain. Today was awful, gloomy and rainy all day. Started to clear up around 6:30 PM tonight. Sunday some of the humidity is supposed to lift, and the temperatures will drop accordingly.

BillsCamino 10-03-2015 07:30 PM

RAIN!!!!

I got stopped the way home today and cited for not having a personal flotation device in my truck. ;)

flash 10-03-2015 08:23 PM

I am so tired of this rain ,been raining here since last thursday with heavy rain today and more expected tomorrow .

carpoor 10-04-2015 09:12 AM

Rain yesterday morning, cleared up later in the afternoon... beautiful day from then on. Today, woke up to 60*. Currently 68* and sunny... I am loving it!

shadowgray396 10-04-2015 10:09 PM

Spent the last 3 days at the coast working on the house and it was around 70 all weekend. was 80 inland. Rained for a couple of hours friday night, but perfect after that. Got lots of painting and staining done.

shadowgray396 10-13-2015 12:15 AM

Stormy weekend and some much needed rain. Sunny and 70 today and around 80 on Friday is in the forecast. There saying rain returns on Saturday evening.

Ken Hayes 10-17-2015 09:38 PM

Holy white crap

Went to a car show today in Livonia, Mi. Started at 9 this morning and it was 36° outside. We dressed for the weather but got a hell of a shock around noon. It snowed so freakin hard that you couldn't see the cars 2 rows away. It only lasted a couple of minutes..........."That's Enough Mother Nature".....its too early.

flash 10-17-2015 09:46 PM

chevymaher 10-18-2015 07:02 AM

Our first frost this morning.

shadowgray396 10-18-2015 10:16 AM

Little rain today and the next few. Had our last 80 degree day last Thursday.

flash 10-18-2015 03:18 PM

Its sunny again today but windy and cool.

shadowgray396 10-31-2015 08:04 AM

Been raining for the last week. Up to 2" today. Has put a halt to my fence project I need to finish. Maybe a better week starting on Tuesday.

chevymaher 10-31-2015 10:11 AM

Getting colder here. No rain the last few days but tomorrow it supposed to start. Poor durango dont have a inside spot. So the leaves falling was killing it. I washed and waxed it. Get some protection on the paint for winter. I driving it a little let the trees have a chance to defoliate. Pretty soon van be lonely and we be driving the truck all the time once the snow starts.

I sure hope it is a normal winter here. I about had as much fun as I can stand with the last few years New England style winters. I am ready for the normal snow a few inches and melt off by 3 type stuff we usually get.

carpoor 10-31-2015 01:19 PM

Still warm and humid here. Have almost touched 90 degrees a few times this week.

flash 10-31-2015 03:04 PM

Today was predicted to be sunny and mild ,instead its been mostly cloudy and cool with rain off and on .Its really supposed to rain tomorrow ,Im dreading the white stuff later on .

Ken Hayes 11-01-2015 11:13 AM

Yesterday was windy, rainy and cold. Too bad for the little trick or treaters. And to the egg throwers, better hope I never catch ya. Heck of a way to break in a new $5,000.00 bay window. So far today its Sunny, calm and a lot warmer.

All this week is supposed to be in high 60's and record setting low 70's. SCREWY MICHIGAN WEATHER for sure !!!!

shadowgray396 11-01-2015 06:20 PM

Had nothing but rain here for the last week. So much for our dry fall. It's going to finally dry out some by Tuesday. Trying to finish a fence project. No trick or treaters last night. It poured all evening. Got about 2" of rain last night.

flash 11-01-2015 08:23 PM

Its raining here now and will continue thru tomorrow and the high wont reach 70.

shadowgray396 11-02-2015 09:19 PM

Went to work today and the basement had 4" to 6" of water in it from all the rain on Saturday.

flash 11-03-2015 06:16 AM

It is not currently raining today but is very cloudy and foggy ,we might see glimpses of sun in a couple of days.

carpoor 11-04-2015 06:58 PM

Still hot and humid, got some rain today. Sure hope it cools down soon.

Ken Hayes 11-04-2015 07:27 PM
