Yea, weather here has been great, hard to believe it's November. Only clue is all the damn leaves on the ground. I hate cleaning up leaves.

flash 11-05-2015 05:48 PM

Our high today was mid to high 60's with more rain ,clouds and drizzle and then heavy rain just in time to head home from work .Our weather has sucked for so long now ,cant even remember when we last saw the sun.If someone comes to visit me they better stay on the driveway or they will be stuck ,it is so soggy you cant walk across the yard .They say we will be in this crap til at least tuesday only cooler .

Ken Hayes 11-06-2015 02:50 PM

Yesterday 75°, Wed was 77° and today was around 60°.

flash 11-07-2015 08:50 PM

Well ,it has rained all day again and is still raining with no end in sight ,its so dang soggy here that if you get off the gravel drive youre stuck even with the lawn mower which I have been using in the rain to chop leaves to try to keep them out of the ditch.

shadowgray396 11-08-2015 12:53 AM

Same here, been raining for almost 3 weeks. Only showing 1 dry day on Tuesday. So much for a dry fall??? I guess the drought here is over for now.

carpoor 11-08-2015 05:13 AM

Still hot! I nearly passed out yesterday working in the heat. We got some rain in the afternoon, but it only made it more humid.

Hank70SS 11-11-2015 06:12 PM

This should be fun, 50-60 mph wind gusts predicted starting 6 AM to 10 PM tomorrow. I imagine we'll get to see our new standby generator in action. Grabbed the extra trash cans and everything else that could blow away and stuck them in the shed.

Hold onto your hats boys.

flash 11-11-2015 06:59 PM

It finally stopped raining yesterday and I learned that I can get my Zero turn mower stuck on high ground in wet grass and leaves.

Hank70SS 11-12-2015 07:19 AM

Well that didn't take long. Power out and gen running at around 7:40 AM. Winds aren't even that strong yet.

Lynda got ours stuck before. Our front lawn is around 4' higher than road. She came off the road and tried to go up. I had left the little hitch in the rear bumper and that got hung up. Had to tow it out with the old Bolens tractor.

RBeckman 11-12-2015 07:30 AM

Wow, it is still quiet up here in Fenton as of 8:30. I went out and filled up all the gas cans for the generator just in case, plus I got about 30 gallons in the Chevelle and Camaro if needed. What a day to take the day off.

shadowgray396 11-12-2015 02:16 PM

Rain, rain and more rain. Did get a break yeasterday and so far today. Expecting about 2 to 3" more on saturday. I have a fence project to get done, but the weekends so far have been way to wet and its almost dark by the time I get home from work. It's going to take for every to get this done. Hard to stain wood because we are down to about 40at night now.

It wasn't bad here either and really hasn't gotten any worse, no where near the 50-60 mph winds they're talking about. Our power was back on about 3 hrs later.

flash 11-12-2015 07:45 PM

We are in western North Carolina taking some vacation time and the weather is perfect ,sunny and warm with a light breeze.

shadowgray396 11-18-2015 12:20 AM

10" of rain in the last 3 days. Ready for a break. They are saying this weekend for a couple of days. Hope so, the yard needs to be cleaned up also from all the winds.

flash 11-18-2015 06:16 AM

We are getting high winds again today and expecting heavy rain ,Im ready for some Drought.

shadowgray396 11-18-2015 02:18 PM

They originally said we were going to have a drought this winter, but I'm not so sure. We had a really dry spring and summer this year, but I think we are trying to make up for it this fall. We will see what winter brings. The El Nino effect doesn't go into full swing until the end of next month according to the weather person. The prediction was for a dry fall, that's out the window.

flash 11-18-2015 04:27 PM

We are really getting the heavy winds and really heavy rains here ,ditches are all full ,I just hope my driveway survives all this .When I left work at 4 PM the water was running down the sidewalks and the steps everywhere were like water falls .

Hank70SS 11-21-2015 06:59 AM

60's last weekend, 70's a couple weeks ago. Today they're predicting around 6" of snow here. Guess I better go mount the plow on the tractor.

chevymaher 11-21-2015 07:21 AM

it says we missing this batch of snow. It just getting real cold.

carpoor 11-21-2015 01:58 PM

Humid and overcast all day. Horrible weather, I had some body panels to paint today - not going to happen.

RBeckman 11-21-2015 03:16 PM

8 inches of snow and still coming down, daughter could not get up driveway till I got out there and shoveled a path...I need to retire and winter in Arizonia where my son and granddaughter are.

flash 11-21-2015 03:36 PM

It's cloudy and cool here at 54 degrees but at least its not raining .

chevymaher 11-21-2015 04:15 PM

I know my buddy on the van site just showed me a picture. Of him sticking a measuring tape in the snow. 10 inches.

Hank70SS 11-21-2015 04:33 PM

We got at least 8" at 5:30 and it's snowing like crazy. Forecast is heavy snow for the next 2 hrs. Radar looks like we're still in the middle of it.

RBeckman 11-21-2015 05:29 PM

Hank we are in the middle of it and will get the heaviest snow, I just went out and there people that can't get up the hill in our sub...thank god for all wheel drive.

flash 11-21-2015 05:46 PM

Ya'll can keep that white crap .

shadowgray396 11-22-2015 12:04 AM

Rains stopped finally for a few days. We are down to freezing with clear skies.

Hank70SS 11-22-2015 06:50 AM

I measured 12" on top of the trash bin. That may not be 100% accurate but it's still a long way from the 6" the weather guessers, I mean forecasters, said we were going to get.

RBeckman 11-22-2015 07:05 AM

I measured 12" in 2 locations this morning....now to go move all this crap.

carpoor 11-22-2015 05:26 PM

It has been raining almost non stop since 6pm last night. :(

shadowgray396 11-22-2015 09:57 PM

Got 2 days of no rain finally. Spent most of the weekend working on the fence project. Although the high is around 46 now. Hard to get the stain to dry in this weather. Rain returns tomorrow, but looks dry for Thanksgiving weekend.

carpoor 11-23-2015 09:05 AM

Finally! It feels like November, 49* this morning with an expected high of 66*. :D

flash 11-23-2015 11:13 AM

It was mid 20's here this morning with light winds which made it feel even colder with high's for today low 50's .

shadowgray396 11-29-2015 08:35 PM

Been about 40 the last 4 days and freezing at night. Rain returns tomorrow. But I was able to spend the last 4 days cleaning up the yard. Seems like every year it takes longer to get the leaves picked up.

carpoor 11-30-2015 02:50 AM

The cool air was short-lived, near 80* and humid. Plenty of rain yesterday.

chevymaher 11-30-2015 06:40 AM

24 here now we working our way toward some snow.

Ken Hayes 12-05-2015 03:58 PM

Just heard on the news the other night, that Michigan this winter will be one of the warmest and driest (very little snow) that we have ever had. Compliments of El Nino. Damn, and I got the car all up on ramps so I can pay attention to the bottom of it.
