Good idea Tony, I'll call too. I could use a few more bucks. Food is really expensive here, just about everything is more expensive here.

Guys, I got a call today concerning your bitching about getting more money. They said that now that Trump is in they will be sending you a voucher for a Alarm clock.....so no more freebies for you.

Hank70SS 02-12-2017 05:20 PM

You mean my free Obama phone is going away? What the %*^*(^(? That's just not right, I need my phone, damn gubment.

Oh wait, this thread is about weather. Well it's great here, temps have dropped down some. Low 80's today and the humidity has dropped. Of course I got what ever Tony had when we visited. Sinus's are all plugged up and have had a headache for days.

FlintTony 02-13-2017 03:52 AM

Whoa Ric. That must have been one of those George Soros paid "protesters" that called you. I aint getting any free-bees, only a small chunk of what I paid in for about 50 years.

Hank, good luck with that flu shit. It seems like everyone in this part of the State has gotten it. The local school says that 90% of the students have had it. Lasts a long time too.

This poison ivy has really wreaked havoc on me. I'm almost ready to go to a real doctor. Both arms, stomach, and now my neck are covered with the shit.

Hank70SS 02-13-2017 07:02 AM

Ouch, I think that might be worse than the flu Tony. Go see a Doc, maybe get something to put on it.

Went to town and talked to the Pharmacist, got some lighter fluid, Benadryl, and some anti-itching cream. Hopefully his remedy does some good.

Going gun shopping for Kathy this morning. Weather is going to be perfect today, may rain tomorrow.

Was shooting the new S&W 38 airlight pistol and discovered the cylinder isn't locking to the frame. S&W is sending return shipping box for it.

I'm glad Obama care is working for you.

FlintTony 02-15-2017 04:12 AM

You a funny Mo-Fo Ric!!!

flash 02-15-2017 04:52 PM

Boy it rained cats and dogs here this morning and I had to drive into Atlanta to see the back surgeon ,took 2 hours to get there .Should only take an hour .The bad thing is I have to go back on Friday for a Byopsy on my Prostate Gland ,dont look forwrd to any of that .

carpoor 02-15-2017 05:59 PM

I got some of that funk too! Started with a sore throat, then congestion and migraines. Then add in a bad stomach - think crohns disease... I eat, and am in bathroom an hour later. This has been going on since I left work Thursday. I have missed out on some great weather because I have been feeling so crappy.

One of my good friends, same age as me, had to go to the hospital because his symptoms were so bad. He's on meds, but had a bad reaction and has a nasty rash all over his arms and chest. There's some bad stuff going around lately, I am just glad that I don't have it as bad as some people. I have not missed any time at work, just had some really rough days.

Hank70SS 02-16-2017 08:02 AM

Guess I'm lucky. Just sinus congestion mostly, some coughing but not bad. No aches and pains or upset stomach.

Ken Hayes 02-16-2017 06:31 PM

And getting back to the weather........Hank, gonna be in the 60's here this weekend. All next week above average temps.

carpoor 02-17-2017 05:58 PM

Started the day at 44 degrees, ended up with 76 degrees. High chance of rain the middle of next week.

chevymaher 02-18-2017 01:07 AM

I got one tree definitely getting leaves over the next few days. Bamboo is coming up. And temps in the 40's to upper 60's this week.

Hank70SS 02-18-2017 07:12 AM

Supposed to be 61 up in Detroit today? That's kinda crazy for mid-February. Been hot done here in southern Florida.

flash 02-18-2017 09:09 AM

Definitely strange weather for February but it beats being cold .Although I could do without the rain we are currently getting ,need to go see my new 72 Chevy 4x4 truck that showed up at the bodyshop yesterday .

It does looks good congrats. That is quickly rising to the top of my to do list.

RBeckman 02-18-2017 07:46 PM

It's 60 up here in Westbranch and we went snowmobiling this morning and when we cam back about 2:00 we had to cross lake ogemaw and it was 2" of water on the ice....scary ride for sure.

Hank70SS 02-21-2017 04:39 PM

What spatter paint did you use Ken. They say the GM stuff is water soluble. I don't have any leaks in my trunk but throw a cooler or other wet stuff in there and you never know. So I covered it with Krylon satin clear. It looks good and has been there for at least 5 years, maybe more. I lose track of what I did when to the Chevelle.

Ken Hayes 02-21-2017 07:15 PM

I used the GM kind and then 3 coats of Rust-oleum Crystal Clear Gloss. Spatter paint sure stinks but it looks great.

Good job Ken.

Hank70SS 02-23-2017 07:08 AM

Got over an inch of rain here yesterday. We're about 8 miles north of Homestead, Fl, about 30 miles from Key Largo. All the keys got hammered along with Miami and Ft Lauderdale. Guess that's not bad, first rain since we've been here, except I've got 2 leaks at top of windshield in the motorhome. Not sure if it's the windshield or a couple of the marker lights up higher. There are 5 across the top front, leaks are pretty close to being under 2 of them. Guess that's my project for the day. Supposed to 79 and no rain.

flash 02-23-2017 08:35 AM

It is looking like a nice sunny day here in Ga for a change .

Ken Hayes 02-23-2017 06:11 PM

Almost 70° today in the Motor City.

That's just crazy. February is when we get temps down to 0 or below.

chevymaher 02-24-2017 11:46 AM

It is crazy. I got on flip flops and shorts working in the yard. Seeing all the plants growing that gonna die tonight when it drops to 27 degrees for a few hours. Well not die but it isn't gonna do them any favors.

flash 02-24-2017 01:39 PM

It is 78 degrees here in Georgia .

carpoor 02-24-2017 06:32 PM

Wednesday and Thursday were rainy, especially Thursday. Today was in the 80s and sunny.

carpoor 02-27-2017 04:01 PM

Started off around 50 this morning, it was a little chilly. It's still in the low 80s as I type this.

chevymaher 02-28-2017 08:13 AM

It is 46 raining and thundering so hard it is shaking the windows here. Dry creek in the back yard is full and running hard.

shadowgray396 02-28-2017 08:55 AM

Rain then rain and then more rain. Hasn't hardly stopped all month. Broke all the records this month. I think we have only had 2 days without rain. Going to rain all the rest of the week. Actually had some snow yesterday.

chevymaher 03-01-2017 06:54 AM

Sons school bus left not a minute later sirens went off. Wow that one was rough. No touch down reported by it was close. Tree was hitting the house. I reckon i got to get some britches on and go clean the branches so I can get out of the driveway.

chevymaher 03-01-2017 07:32 AM

Well house is fine. Looks like about a cord of wood on the roof. Kidding but there is a bunch up there I got to get down when it dries off. Down the road what ever it was ripped a tree out by the roots that was a good 15 foot in diameter. Bunch of tornadoes just north of us.

Chevelle made it this time. When I first got the stupid car tornadoes knocked a big tree down on it. Tree kinda tripoded over the car limiting the roof damage tho. That was a big repair fixing the roof. A years worth of extra work I could have done with out.

flash 03-01-2017 11:21 AM

We are due for stormy weather this afternoon ,hope it is not too bad .

chevymaher 03-01-2017 01:01 PM

trucks hood got a few dents in it. Now that it is sunny and not raining I see the bad news LOL.Yea more body work

shadowgray396 03-05-2017 11:06 PM

Snow in the forecast tonight. Where is spring?

chevymaher 03-06-2017 04:41 PM

oddly it is here. 60 degrees.

Hank70SS 03-10-2017 07:22 AM

We're in Fl but they lost power at home on Tuesday. DTE energy estimated 900,000 without power Tuesday. Largest outage in their history. Still no power at our house today. We have an automatic standby generator so we have power and the furnace is working. Many of our neighbors also have auto generators, feel sorry for those that don't. 23 degrees at home today, high of 25.

carpoor 03-10-2017 03:06 PM

Currently 81* and sunny.

shadowgray396 03-10-2017 09:16 PM

Finally got some sun today. It's been a long winter. Rain tomorrow again and sun on Sunday. Might get to 60 finally.
