chevymaher 12-08-2017 04:20 PM

And it isn't doing nothing here in ky right south of ohio. Just cold as a witches tit.

flash 12-08-2017 06:59 PM

We have 7 inches of cold wet snow and its still snowing , I hate this stuff although I did take the 93 4x4 Burb and then the 72 Chevy 4x4 out in it early today to see how they did .Both did very well in the snow ,first 4x4 snow time for me , still dont like snow though .

chevymaher 12-09-2017 03:13 AM

It is bizzare for us here tho. No snow yet and it is snowing south of us where it is usually alot warmer.

I actually got 2 running 4X4's right now to. Mine and a customers car a jeep. They said take my time. I said no it would be done yesterday. They said before I finished. Well I paid you already and I aint coming to get it till next week sometime. So do what you want with it. Nicest people in the world.

Needed brakes and a window track fell apart and the window was taped shut.

carpoor 12-09-2017 09:40 AM

So we had overcast, misty rain, and a highof 68 Thursday. In the low 80s and mostly cloudy yesterday. Currently 50, dark, gloomy, off and on light rain.

Come on up here to MI John. We only have around 1", total should be 2" or less when it's all done.

flash 12-09-2017 06:23 PM

We finished up with 9 inches ,lost power late last night and just came back on a couple of hours ago .Just now getting the house warm again . I absolutely hate snow .

chevymaher 12-10-2017 05:59 AM

We got a little over a inch. Ground was cold so it was dry. I got it shoveled off and didnt even have to break out the 4wd to go out last night.

BillsCamino 12-10-2017 08:55 AM

About 7" of snow here...power was out from 5:30 yesterday morning until almost 10pm last night.

That's why we have an automatic standby generator. No heat in the winter is not fun. Our water is from a well so no electricity and no water either. We lose power around here often enough that it's worth it.

BillsCamino 12-10-2017 07:53 PM

We also have a generator...always get comments from neighbors that have seen my house lit up during an outage.;)
But, thinking about buying a snow shovel...

flash 12-11-2017 05:50 AM

I have a portable generator or 2 that will do what I need if I had been better prepared for the Dusting we got .

Ken Hayes 12-12-2017 08:17 AM

We got just under 5" over the night. Cold and windy......good snow blowing weather....NOT !!

Hank70SS 12-12-2017 06:40 PM

We got 4-5" as well. High of 19 today with some pretty good winds. Tomorrow should be even better, maybe 8" of snow, oh boy. Guess I better get the old garden tractor out and mount the plow on it. I'm not pushing snow off of 90' of driveway by hand. If Tony was a nice guy he would have left is SS tractor at my house whiles he's in FL.

How is the weather there Tony? What you been up down there?

shadowgray396 12-13-2017 02:51 PM

Been sunny the last two weeks. Nice break form all the rain. Rain returns by Friday, cold at night but about 50 during the day.

carpoor 12-17-2017 07:11 PM

Back in the low 80s

Hank70SS 12-18-2017 07:04 AM

80's, we're finally going to get above freezing for a couple of days. Guess I need to plow some of the packed down snow off the driveway if it loosens up some today or tomorrow. Dec. 18th, I'm already tired of winter. Low 80's, I forget, what part of Fl. are you in?

shadowgray396 12-18-2017 08:02 AM

Rain here the lows in the twenties and high 34 by the weekend. Clear but no snow in the forecast.

mestorod70 12-18-2017 09:44 AM

Mid 80s here.
Perhaps a swim this afternoon with a cold beer.

Ken Hayes 12-19-2017 10:40 PM

Got to 51° today. Sure melted a lot of snow. Right now its 36° goin down to 23° tonight.

vinces427bb 12-19-2017 11:01 PM

whoops we got some frosting fog this morning.
lows 18*-28*; highs 45*-62* lately
anyone else have a fair weather chevelle??
mine has the heater/defroster deleted.
no choke on the carb either
long as it's sunny and above 35* it's fine :)

flash 12-20-2017 05:54 AM

Rainy day yesterday and another one today but it's better than snow any day .

Just NE of Orlando. Currently 82* and sunny.

Hank70SS 12-22-2017 10:14 AM

Well winter has pretty much settled in here. I think next Tuesday the high is supposed to be something like 13 degrees. That's just too cold.

Hey do you guys have awesome weatherman like we do? This morning I learned that water freezes when the temps are below 32 and thaws when temps are above, who knew? Seriously, he explained that to the viewers this morning. We have another weatherman that helps you dress for the day. Not only does he tell you what the weather will be he then tells you if you need your mittens and scarfs or maybe an umbrella. Apparently some people can't figure that stuff out based on the weather report. Pathetic.

shadowgray396 12-22-2017 10:44 AM

Chance of freezing rain maybe tomorrow morning. Won't last to long if it does.

flash 12-22-2017 08:14 PM

Its been rainy here for a few days but better than that dusting of snow we had forcast a short time back.

FlintTony 12-23-2017 03:22 AM

It's been warm and dry here. I've spread around 200 pounds of rye grass seed and sure could use some rain.

chevymaher 12-23-2017 04:47 AM

Rainy and warm. But it is coming it is supposed to drop in temps and snow.

carpoor 12-23-2017 09:15 AM

Great weather lately, small cold front coming Monday.

vinces427bb 12-23-2017 10:26 AM

no xmas snow here
55* and windy all weekend :)

shadowgray396 12-25-2017 01:14 AM

White Christmas Eve here.

Hank70SS 12-29-2017 06:49 AM

6 below Wednesday morning. 12 below yesterday morning. 10 degrees today. How often can you say 10 is a 22 degree warmup. This weather sucks and not's supposed to be much better for the next week or so.

kevinw 12-29-2017 09:50 AM

will be -12 here in Kansas city sunday nite. we had a really warm November and first half of December, in 50 and 60s, was able to get some last minute stuff done on the Chevelle, then all hell broke loose day before Christmas. now its like Alaska!

Funny, on the weather report yesterday they said it was the same temp here as Fairbanks, Al but the wind chill made it feel colder here.
