OK guys, back to bullshitting. Got all the wire ran to the storage building, everything is hooked up and working. Moved a huge pile of old wooden fence and posts today. Getting rid of some of the "treasures" that I've had for decades. Got to make the joint look "pretty" now for prospective buyers.

Wow, what a beauty. I need to hurry up and win the lottery.

Thanks! Car had 26,000 actual miles on it when I bought it. I did the BB conversion, using as many GM parts as I could. The 427 was originally in a 69 Caprice. Cool story about the car, as told to me by his father. Car sat for 22 years in a dairy barn, after original owner died.

Wow, great car to start with. What was it originally? 6cyl power glide? I showed my father pictures at lunch yesterday, he was drooling. He was a teenager when those cars were new. Muscle cars really resonate with him. But, he really prefers pre - 49' stuff. (Which I could care less about, I love muscle cars)

Thanks Brian. Car was originally a 350/4 speed SS. I found the computer card in the rear seat. The original owner drove it for 2 years before he died. He was a Viet-Nam soldier. Raced it at the local Pennsylvania tracks and scattered the original engine and trans. It sat in his dads dairy farm barn for 22 years. I talked to his dad a few times. It has some flat plates welded on the front sub-frame for a tow bar. The rear fender lips are rolled so he could get a 10" tire under it. Real nice job on the fenders.

I started another project here today, but when I get some time I'll post a few pictures of the 34 for your dad to look at. What the hell, I'll stick some of the Nomad on here too.

I took a buddy for pretty good ride in it. When we got back, he said "This SOB is LETHAL!" It goes pretty good.

Interesting back story to go along with it. What gears are in it?

I think something similar happened with my 69' Malibu. The original engine and transmission are long gone. Had a B body 300 HP 350 and an early 3/4" shaft M20 in it. The M20 I picked up for the car recently is out of a 69' Nova. The guy I bought it from grew up in Detroit.

Nova has a 12 bolt with 3.73 positraction.

Here is my Nomad.

Very nice Tony. I see a trend here... 427s in everything.
