69chevelless 06-22-2012 07:31 PM

There's a bad thunder and lightning storm here right now. I just took my son to the local mall to get a new hat and they lost power and weren't letting anyone in.

Ms Grumpy 06-23-2012 05:09 PM

It's 80 degree's at 6pm. Not a bad day, just a little overcast. Heading out to the local A & W tonight to see a few old friends and get me some chili fries. :)

69chevelless 06-25-2012 10:55 AM

It's thundering like crazy right now! It's been doing it all morning!

shadowgray396 06-25-2012 09:47 PM

Still raining here. Rained out the car show yesterday. Been the 4th wettest June on record so far. Only about 68 each day.

Ms Grumpy 06-25-2012 11:14 PM

Looks like it is going to be a nice cool night. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 70's, perfect day for a cruise.

69chevelless 06-26-2012 12:15 AM

Rain all week here, really sucks. Weekend might be good though!

Ms Grumpy 06-26-2012 09:32 PM

Beautiful day today, supposed to start getting warmer and warmer as the week goes on. The humidity is supposed to get unbearable in the next few days. Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be too bad.

shadowgray396 06-26-2012 10:51 PM

Cool and wet around here still.

Ms Grumpy 06-27-2012 09:59 PM

Hot, humid one here today. It is still 82 degrees at 11pm. Tomorrow they are saying we might hit 100.

Hank70SS 06-29-2012 08:37 AM

99 at the airport yesterday, some places hit 100 or a little above. Supposed to get a break today, only 94-95. We're about 2" below average on rainfall just for the month of June. I've had 2 and 3 sprinklers going all day long just trying to save some of the lawn and plants, and it's not working that great.

shadowgray396 06-29-2012 08:40 AM

Maybe 74 today, stiil been cool and cloudy. Summer never starts around here before the 4th of July.

Ms Grumpy 06-29-2012 09:05 PM

Another hot one here today. It's still 83 degrees at 10 pm and high humidity. I don't care if it is hot tomorrow, just as long as it doesn't rain. My sister has her wedding "party" at her house in her back yard. She has the set up, DJ, dance floor, she has a huge pool, an ice cream cart, and she is having it catered. She has invited over 200 people and I just hope that the rain holds off til late tomorrow night.

flash 06-29-2012 09:26 PM

It was miserable hot here today with 104 temp and they say lower humidity ,i was sweating buckets while I pressure washed in full sun all day. Needless to say I was completely beat by days end and after a cool shower and some supper I collapsed in bed for a few hours.

shadowgray396 07-01-2012 11:23 PM

Been hot for everyone else but us. Still only anout 70 around here and rained all day Saturday and cloudy today. Weather is going to warm by July 4th so they claim. We will see.

Ms Grumpy 07-02-2012 01:07 AM

Another hot muggy one here in Michigan. I think my van said it was 91 at one point, but the humidity just makes the air so heavy. I just want the humidity gone. I don't know how the people in the southern states do it, I really hate the humidity.

Hank70SS 07-02-2012 05:31 PM

95 in Brighton today. Forcast is 93 tomorrow, then 97, 97 and 97. Been 90 to 100 for over a week now and not a drop of rain. Can't wait to get the electric bill.

shadowgray396 07-02-2012 10:55 PM

Second wettest June on record with 4.10 inches of rain, normal is 1.5 inches. Warming begins on the 4th with no rain in sight for the next 20 days according to the weatherman. Nice part we don't have high humidity here. Fire danger will be high here if it drys out like they say. All the grasses in the woods are more then twice as tall then normal.

shadowgray396 07-08-2012 09:12 AM

It's a blazing 90 today here. Been in the 70's seems a little hot since we have been so cool for so long.

grandsport 07-08-2012 07:03 PM

95 here today. What a killer summer so far and this is the best tan Ive had in years!

69chevelless 07-08-2012 07:40 PM

It was very hot. I waited on the side of the highway for 2 hours waiting for my 69 to be towed.

Ms Grumpy 07-08-2012 10:48 PM

Today was a relief from the extreme heat and humidity. It was in the mid 80's and it should be in the 60's tonight. It is nice to give my a/c a break. I don't look forward to my electric bill next month.

shadowgray396 07-11-2012 06:10 PM

Been in the mid 80's now for about a week.

Ms Grumpy 07-11-2012 09:08 PM

It was nice enough today, that I actually baked some brownies. Love the 70's and 80's...and the brownies too.

BBChevelle 07-12-2012 09:29 AM

Didnt get any cooler than 85 last night and it was 90 degrees with 30mph winds 50mph gusts and 35% humidity at 630 this morning. Its gonna be one of those crappy days. Hopefully the 105 this afternoon will burn out the humidity and it cools down tonight. Been hiding in the house the last 3 days and im missing out on my garage time

Fat fingered from the phone- Corey

Ms Grumpy 07-12-2012 11:17 PM

Corey I feel your pain. I didn't realize how hot it was outside today until my kids started making fun of me because I was red. The temps are starting on the rise again, supposed to be in the mid 90's again this weekend. I just am hoping the humidity is not super high again.

Ms Grumpy 07-16-2012 07:38 PM

So here it is Monday at 8:30pm and it is still 90 degrees outside. And it is really humid. For those that remember Chevellabration '11, this is what it has felt like here. This is Michigan, we are not supposed to have ALL this humidity. I just want it a little cooler...pleeze....

shadowgray396 07-16-2012 08:10 PM

Been in the low 80's here, but seems more humid then normal lately

flash 07-17-2012 02:09 PM

We have the high humidity here too ,but we usually do. The heat hasnt been so bad ,low to mid 90's .

Hank70SS 07-17-2012 05:48 PM

99 at 6 PM in Brighton, hotter than that in Detroit. We get a break for a couple of days, only in the 80's, then back into the 90's on the weekend.

This just sucks, hotter than hell, no rain, walk out the door and it takes your breath away. I worked my butt of in the spring so I could relax and enjoy the summer. Instead I'm stuck in the house or dripping with sweat if I got outside. Oh well, at least we have and AC and it's working well.

BTW, England is having the one of the wettest and coldest seasons on record.

flash 07-17-2012 07:02 PM

I just have got back from town getting a battery replaced in Joans Sport Trac ,it only took me a little while to change it but I was sweat soaked by the time I finished ,the humidity is terrible .We have been getting afternoon showers on and off for about a week but that only increases the humidity and makes the grass grow .The garden is scorched ,not producing much at all as everything has dried up.

Ms Grumpy 07-17-2012 09:06 PM

I am like Hank, the temperature was at 100 and with the humidity it felt like 105. I took advantage of the heat and humidity and pulled out my smoker today and smoked some pulled pork and ribs. I sweated my behind off, but they were so good.

I decided this morning to turn my air up a little to save some $$ on my electric bill, big mistake ! With all the humidity, I can get the house comfortable, but not as cool as it was before. The low is supposed to be 79 tonight, and I hope that we get some showers for my garden too. I am lucky flash, as my garden is small enough for me to water. I hope yours recovers.

shadowgray396 07-24-2012 08:47 AM

We can't even seem to got to 79 much this year. It has been a cool summer so far. got a feeling that fall is going to be hot around here. It been almost a year since we have hit a 90 degree day around here.

We've had 23 or 24 days of 90 or above, today will be another one. Normal summer is 11 days at 90 or above and this is still July. I don't even want to drive that furnace called a Chevelle, no AC. The few times I have you have to peel your soaking wet clothes off when you get home and jump in the shower.

shadowgray396 07-29-2012 09:32 AM

High today is still around 80 degrees, been a nice few weeks around here. They said on the weather report it has been a year since we hit a 90 degree day. Got a feeling fall is going to be very warm around here. I can't complain after watching the rest of the US with scorching heat.

shadowgray396 07-30-2012 12:48 AM

Average temp for July has been 69 degrees so far this month.

Oh what I would give for 69 degrees. It is 1:47am and it is 77 degrees outside, and humid.

shadowgray396 08-02-2012 11:33 PM

Forecast for this weekend is mid 90's

Correction, weather here on Saturday was 102, up 25 degress from 2 days ago. Not ready to be that hot since we have been in the low 80's this last week.

shadowgray396 08-15-2012 07:50 AM

Will be in the 100's for the next few days

69chevelless 08-15-2012 07:59 AM

Flash flood warning here til 10.

shadowgray396 08-17-2012 07:39 AM
